Could you go more into the front suspension swap? Very interested in doing this to my bike
May nakikita lang po ako dito sa Cabuyao, Laguna na xr150l... kinabitan po ng sidecar. White and red po kulay nung xr150l.
Kawawa naman....pero talo yan sa nakita ko na super4 sa dumaguete. Ginawang tricycle lol
Where can I get those shocks? And wil it fit on my honda xr125?
Not single overhead cam is overhead cam only
I'm back to double-dipp the info here. I'm now looking into the suspension swaps that might work? IF I can determine that at
least the front end can be swapped out, that would go a long way towards my confidence in the handling of this bike. I know
the score on power, it simply means that I'll have to ride very defensively on roads that I can't go the speed limit... sharing the
road is something I learned while riding a TOMOS Targa w/ after market exhaust.... did 42mph but I shared the road. Made it
safer & the cars appreciated my letting them go by! That said, this is why having a better front-end would make it safer as I
dealt w/ similar issues? I hope you are right, in that a few of the models over the last 20 years might swap straight out?
Is there an easy way to know? Shit, I'll figure it out if you say some of them will work. Also I agree that bigger front tires
is better handling, the Tomos had the bigger tires, nothing like a scooter - they were 16" - 20" inches, I forgot which but I
know bigger is much better. Again, thanks for all your videos & I'll look at your stuff for a "SM 150L" look. peace man
These are exactly what i wanted and needed to know before buying--most informative video on the xr150l for me!
In brazil we have big bore kit to 70mm of piston, thats give 73 cc.
Thats big bore kit for example a 67mm make the displacement increase only 54cc, in reality not make 235cc but only 203cc.
While the 70mm make 222cc of displacement.
Thats not much but the hp mainly in low rpm increase.
Increase 8 until 15 hp in motorcycle.
I recommend
Where can I buy such kit and do,s it fit the pushrod engine or only the overhead cam
If you hone the cases I bet you could fit 86 mm piston cylinder pretty easy🧐 maybe a 90 mm going extreme 🤓
nice video
fork po ba ng crf150 ung nakakabit dyan?
So i can bolt in a 250f motor?
With a 270 BBK!🤣
USA xr150 owner here, one of the things I dislike about the American version of this bike is ours don’t come with a kick start! Which sucks. I’m unsure if the engine is the same as the crf150, I am uneducated in that regard.
You should check out Torture Test Magazine's channel. He recently uploaded a very detailed review on his personal XR150L. He also discussed the similarities of the XR150L and CRF150F engines.
@@TheManoy66 definitely will check out that channel! Thank you, I appreciate it!!
I rode street bikes and harley type cruisers. Big boys. This is the only new motorcycle i would buy right now besides the r7. Its literally perfect.
It’s under powered for hills in its stock form.
Cool bike I have 2017 model still doing great and running great Less maintenance and perfect in philippine roads
Can I use cover of XR250 for XR150? I really like the vintage enduro style, thank you.
I have seen some modified to look vintage. Custom brackets and some frame adjustments will be needed for sure.
I purchased my xr150l in 2017. The smallest cc bike i have ever owned as an adult. It's ok but i would love more power. I am debating getting a bigger bike or putting cash in upgrading this one to 230cc. Do you know of a good aftermarket pipe i can still pass inspection with here in PH? For a little more power i would suggest jetting the carb. Smaller front sprocket will help on takeoff but of course lower top end. If you plan on off roading i think the smaller sprocket is a must. It is for me but i'm 210lbs a bit heavier than the average Filipino. Also a must if you go with 21/18" wheels.
Thanks for the video, it's a well proven bike in other countries in Central/South America & Asian Nations so I was hoping to
land on one of these channels - here you are right on time/ subb'd up & this is the stuff I wanted to know. I hope things are
the same w/ the American version, certain carb & emission stuff might be different but it's the ability for other parts that I
really want to know about. Good looking plastics, gas tanks, or other mods is what I believe you can share. peace
Hello! Great & helpful video! I'd like to know if the CRF150 fuel tank also fits the XR150 2014 model since right now, stock for the xr's is unavailable at Honda shops in the Philippines. Thanks & more vlogs!👍
Hey thanks for watching!
As for your question, that i cannot guarantee. But both the XR150 and CRF150 share the same frame so its highly possible. I suggest you borrow a fuel tank first and see if it fits properly.
You could also check fb marketplace for used xr150 gas tanks since the xr is also a popular custom bike platform.
@@TheManoy66 That, I'll do! Great response...and very quick, too! The front suspensions could probably be switched too? Am ur enthusiastic new sub! Godbless, sir!!!🌞
@@mikecastro7117 yes that i am most certain. 😉
If the XR 150 L is like other similar models from Japanese manufacturers then I suggest you get one with conventional forks as the upside down forks they all seem to use are rubbish that cannot be upgraded heck you are lucky to be able to change fork seals with a spring on one side and sealed non serviceable damper unit in the other fork. The conventional forks may seem old school but can be uopgraded with different springs and gold valves etc.
Ohlins makes a inner component upgrade for the Showa UD forks on the CRF150L, they also have a rear shock, not multi adjustable but better than stock I would guess.
The XR150L may be new in the USA ! not in Latin America It has been for sale in Honda dealers there for several years ! .
Sold since 2003
Anong size ng borecylinder ang pwede i upgrade. Or lahat ba pwede ipalit? Salamat more power
Alam ko meron 230cc kit. Check mo sa mga parts store
got one in my garage! love the bike!
Been wondering about the weight capacity of the rear Rack, as it has a weight limit of 7kg. But i guess if a 70 kg person can sit on the back seat, then when riding solo, the cargo box could have 20-25 kg in it without any issues. The rack itself might have to be reinforced though. Any suggestions?
Nothing i can think of really. A shock with preload adjustability would be nice though.
Will upgrading the front rim from 19 to 21 inches change the speedometer reading?
Most likely to happen
boss anong size ng gulong mo?
Stock size ng XR150 lang un naka kabit sa motor sir
What about the lack of tire selection? Isn’t that an issue?
Pwede ra kaha ang muffler ani Boss e replace sa pang crf ?
Boss pilay palit nmo sa Fork? Og asa?
Double the horse power would be great for its weight
Do you know what those invert forks are off of?
No idea which bike it came from. But i assume its one of those amazon/alibaba units.
love from nepal
