I think that’s an older Jack Cassidy cabinet they used to make. But I’m with you, they need to re-release it!

Interested in how the pedal can sound as close to clean and warm, like it warms up an amp but doesn’t sound like a pedal is on or being used. I need that kind of tonal flexibility.

Here's hoping for a micro head to go with the new cab

I went into my local guitar shop recently and played the AG 700 through Aguilar cabs (light cabs), it is a BEAUTIFUL sounding amp, much better in my opinion than the Tone Hammer and THE best sounding bass amp I ever heard. However, I was using a Fender Jazz bass (4-string, passive) with no pedals plugged into the AG 700 and I noticed it cut-out frequently. All the videos I had seen on TH-cam didn’t seem to do that. Any idea why it was cutting out when the gain knob was at 11:00 and every demonstration video I have watched on it is at or higher than 11 but I didn’t notice it cutting out. This is the only thing keeping me from purchasing it. If you know why and how it can be prevented let me know. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was whether I had the active or passive switch on, but I was playing through a passive bass. Thanks!

Hello Billy. We're glad you enjoyed the AG 700 and yes, your instinct is right, the amp should not be cutting in and out. When you have a moment could you please email our customer service, support@korgusa.com, to let them know where you demo'd the amplifier so it can be reviewed by a technician. Thanks!

It sounds like me after a chili cook off festival.

They don’t all sound like they came off a baked bean festival like this one. Some of my pedals are accurate preamps and sound no different from my amps natural overdrive. This sounds the opposite.

Your setup sounded fuzzy even with the pedal off.

I'll take a pick over slapping with OD. So many great rock tones out there used a pick.
