Fabian can i ask you one question. On a very old grand pianos, the damper flange is glued to the damper frame and that's all? I have Bechstein made in 1977. I was surprised that i discover that damper flange its not screwed on damper frame and just attached on by glue! But i find also glue doing his job after repairing ! I am not shure if I understand exactly what ou mean, the dampers are attached and glued with a piece of parchment.
