at 06:37 there is a visual bug in the TOMS outputs, TOM3 appears twice even in place of TOM4, this happened to me and I was wondering what I was doing wrong, apparently it doesn't affect the final sound (but the visual bug exists, the TOM3 will always appear in place of TOM4)
Hi Josh! Thank you for the incredible library you've created; I'm really enjoying it! Just a quick suggestion for the upcoming videos: it would be great if you could include some drum programming tips and tricks, along with your go-to velocities. It would be even better if you could share here or on Patreon the MIDI files for the demo tracks you’ve programmed. I would especially love to dive into the MIDI drums for "Poison For The Lost." Thanks again!
Can anybody explain to me the issue I may have with the plugin. So when I load Ultimate Heavy Drums through kontakt 6, there is no sound coming out of my headphones even though within the plugin itself it shows that the signal is actually coming if I hit a kick or snare, for example. I just cannot figure out what the problem may be. Now, if I open the plugin in kontact 7 or 8, there is sound coming to my headphones but in those versions of contact there is no channel routing available for the drum kit.
You don't have to restart Kontakt after you change the outputs. Near the upper right corner is an " ! " (next to the cpu%) This resets Kontakt's engine
Sounds AMAZING Josh! Thank you! Just curious what you would recommend as far as velocity range for kick and snare when programming in a DAW? Also, it seems when routing out to Cubase, the sounds are 6Db louder than when not individually routed? If I turn the input gain down -6Db on the tracks in Cubase, it's exactly the same and also keeps the ratio of reverb in tacked. I'm probably doing something wrong, just wondered if this was normal or if you had noticed. Thanks again for an amazing drum library!
Then it's not just for me. I was scratching my head as to what I could have done wrong, that the routed UHD (Cubase) sounds way louder than the "standard" version with stereo output. Does it just work that way for some reason? All my presets are set to the stereo output volume.
Bought a licence! Thanks, Josh. Question - if you don't route drums, how do you prefer to use sidechain compression on guitar bus triggered by bass drum or snare etc. I'm learning to mix!
Hey Josh...need some help. I don`t have any sound on the kick bus close mic1, overhead mic1+2, room mic1 and one shot - only close mic2 and room mic2 are working. Reinstalled it several times but no success. Maybe I`m doing something wrong?
And have you watched the whole ‘in depth walkthrough’ video on this channel? You will need to drag a one-shot sample into the one-shot loader to use it
Hi Josh! This library sounds amazing man!! Just a question for you: How many grooves are included? The reason for my question is that every time I buy a library, there´s only the drums and presets included. I think that´s why I´ve been using SD3 for the last couple of years, because that´s the only one with enough MIDI grooves to just get started with songs instead of trying to program the drums! So: How many MIDI grooves are there? If there aren´t any, are you planning on creating expansions for the library? Thanks mate! ;)
Yeah misha and nolly are assholes when it comes to not explaining this step lol I guess they assume everyone is professional, that being said I love the guys both lol.
I asked and you answered. Thanks Josh.

Great tutorial! I believe you can hit the “!” Icon top right to refresh the Kontakt changes, so you don’t have to close it and open it again.
Very nice of you Josh to show how to route your drums for those that have never done this before in Kontakt.

Yep! Tons of that kind of thing coming up! Thank you. Glad you’re enjoying it
I tried doing this with Reaper, I cannot get output 40/41 Rooms to show up. Tried to manually link it with no luck..
I wish this was available as a plugin for Pro Tools....😥

We really need a documentation file - is there one in the works?

forgot to add that it sounds great!
thanks mate ^^]
Thanks for this. It’s fun for tinkering
Been waiting for this since I bought it 3 days ago lol

Will this library work with my Roland Td50x electronic drums compatible?
Can you do this on logic as well?
@@angelsalazar6904 yep! Same principles apply

Have you programmed kicks on the left kick? The default kit has the right kick fader on 0 so you will need to turn that up in the GUI
And have you watched the whole ‘in depth walkthrough’ video on this channel? You will need to drag a one-shot sample into the one-shot loader to use it
