The gameplay looks like a combination between The Force Unleashed, OG Battlefront 2, and Rebel Assault all rolled into a Lego game, I LOVE IT!
So basicly every good star wars game. We just miss more clone wars content.

At 8:36 (I concede to be a super nerd who learned to read aurebesh). But under count dooku's name it translates to "Never loses his head" absolute best thing about this game.
I hope there are random conflicts happening throughout the game. Like Tuskens trying to attack you in the Dune Sea or getting distress calls from space fleets being under attack. That'd be wicked!
I've seen that there are random conflicts in space when you are warping to planets.
Probably not, but remember they do have big battles in space 👍
There is going to be a "free play" for the open world sadly, but I still hope there is a real open world with stuff like that.
@@nickizanewb8433 They've had that in the last few Lego games lol. In Lego marvel 2 you could be flying with Thor or swinging with Spidey or just walking with Black panther and there would be criminals just doing random crimes in New York, Wakanda etc. They also had a wanted system (like GTA) in DC Villians (because they're bad guys) so it's definitely possible they've implemented some of that stuff into this game.
Sounds like a gimmick that you would only actually participate in once or twice and then get bored of. Just because it sounds cool doesn't mean it's worth putting in the game.
Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, now I just need the patience of a saint while I wait for the game to come out.

one question: why isn't a Venator one of the capital ships you can unlock? is it that its a "good guy" ship and you can already summon it whenever you want or what?
This is a demo build possibly meaning some content is missing.

It's also possible other good guy ships like the Venator may be freely accessible and explorable through the open world and only bad guy ships are unlockable through capturing them through space battles. Of course ships like the Invisible Hand are still missing, but again, being a demo build it just may be missing for now and appear in the roster in the full game.
One thing you have to think about is the fact that they built all the ships and interiors entirely out of Lego and if it's by scale unless you wanted the game delayed like two more years of course maybe there's only five ships I'm grateful there's two death stars to explore hopefully it's just a demo and I really hope we can explore the interiors of the good guy ships as well including the Jedi Temple not just the Jedi archives
And Senate building really wish they made more outfits for Padme but honestly should we be so nitpicky when we're literally getting what I hope is the best Star wars game not just in terms of Lego but in terms of Star wars this is insane I'm going crazy just waiting for this game
I think it only showed the enemy ships that you can capture. I’m guessing allied ships will be able to be explored too given that a lot of the Last Jedi takes place inside of the Raddus

Ever so slightly disappointed that there are only 5 capital ships and the Venator is not among them. Especially when there are two death stars. But who knows, maybe it's going to be added later with DLC or something. I really hope so.
I have a feeling they will add a dlc with a bunch of clone captains/commanders like Wolffe, rex, fox, bly, gree, and others and then with that character pack there will be a venator, not sure but that sounds like something that could be possible

The ships menu is the only thing that really dissapoints me, it's missing some of the important ships that were in movies like TIE Silencer, Venator or Republic gunship. Altough I still think that this game will be incredible.
they need things to add in in updates tho right

I hope they bring back the old mechanic from Star Wars Empire at War, where you can use the Death Star battle station/super weapon (Not a Capital Ship) to destroy any planet that you please.
Sadly not to destroy planets but will be able to take it
Almost certainly not. Those are parts of the hub world, and access points for story and side missions. I doubt that they'd make it possible to lock yourself off of completion because you blew up a large portion of the game.

The micro ships are something Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens. Basically just a vehicle for ground use.

funny thing, in the German version Laserschwert (laser sword) is actually used quite often. Though there is also Lichtschwert (light sword). As the direct translation of Lightsaber (licht säbel) sounds kinda stupid.

For the first and second Death Star, you need to complete a side mission for each, the rebel engineer in the temple rewards you the ability to buy the first Death Star, the Ewok near your ship on Endor rewards you the ability to buy the second Death Star and you’ll need 7 million studs to buy both Death Stars

The only thing I wish they would do for boss fights is have them feel like more of a challenge. Like you don’t regen health during the fights and if you die, you have to restart the fight

Don't know if you know but on the settings of the game u can make gonks super and invincible. U can also have a character called gonkatine, a mix between a gonk droid and emperor palpatine. "GONK"

So far my favorite moment in this is when Kylo goes to Snoke wearing a "I love Vader" shirt and Snoke says "Take that ridiculous thing off" and Kylo just flex so the shirt blows up

Nah, it is like the complete saga, so ships are faster than others, others shoot faster, and some can shoot torpedoes, I saw it in some gameplay, tho I can't remember where.
