A nice touch is palpatine having his lightsaber coated in gold just like in cannon where his lightsaber is coated in electrum
I dont like that it is not on all palpatines only one the senat ones but besides
You do know the force awakens already did this so it's not exactly a nice touch if TT games already did it before.
Um actually only 1 out of the 6 playable palpatine skins has the gold lightsaber. The rest have the plain silver which is weird and seems lazy

Honestly a palpatine with nothing but super op force lightning would have been DOPE
Even if every other force lightning character was what we have.
They should do that in the DLC

1. Count Dooku
Because when he collects things he'll say twice the prize double the joy which I enjoy to hear he can also use force lightning
2. Darth Mual my favorite character and he has a double bladed Lightsaber
3. Darth Vader I also just really like Vader

Something that I think is slept on is how you can't just purchase all characters from the get go. A concern of mine was once you buy all the multipliers you can just buy everything and be done with it. I'm really glad they introduced the idea of missions for both characters and vehicles and even having to fight the capital ships to win them instead of just buying them out right. I've been having a blast with the missions to unlock all the vehicles and characters so props to TT for this, it keeps the game fresh and alive.
They’ve been doing that for years now
The quests to unlock characters can get very tedious, like all the crappy races. Races have NEVER been fun in Lego games, they need to stop adding them
One of the biggest letdowns of the entire game to me was the fact that Sideous and Dooku don’t shoot lightning instead of just throwing their lightsaber. Such a wasted opportunity.
Darth plageuis (or however you spell it) is actually in the game if you destroy a wall in the senates office you can See a picture of young senate with his master hooded in the dark

Funny how they didn't add Palpatine's spinning attack in this game, because the Emperor in the Complete Saga did have it as his lunge attack.
I like how Boba Fett has a more original voice instead of Morrison's version.
The only complaint with Maul was that he was given the old hood instead of the newly updated detailed ones that even Dark Rey and C3PO got.
Scavengers can use jetpack gliders yet the Boba and Mando's cant fly more than 3 seconds. These small details have bugged me on the game.
Bobas voice in this game is actually the same actor who played him as a kid in AotC, as well as voiced him in the TCW tv show
Darth Vader has gotta be my favorite character in the game…I know he’s in like every Star Wars game but I can’t help it lol he’s just the greatest in everything

I’ve been having a ton of fun with Sith Rey. Her voice lines ever fail to make me chuckle. Although I wish she had Force Lightning. Would’ve been perfect.

I found out today that Vader can be in the droid only gas spaces, very useful for some of the rooms
i absolutely adore dooku and am pleasantly surprised by his place on the list. sir christopher lee is my favourite actor, it's great seeing his acting and likeness done justice in this game

Palpatine with his lego electricity is just too funny
They nailed the combat in this game it is unreal how each character has there own unique style and feels super smooth, you actually have style unlike the complete saga where it was mainly button mashing.
If you were button mashing in the Complete Saga you were playing unoptimally. If you time each lightsaber swing to be right after the last one ends it will be more powerful, perfectly reflect blaster bolts and even break through guards

Tbh I still might even like the feel of combat in the complete saga better. There was just something so satisfying about timing you attacks for the combo and going through blocks. Was really disappointed they removed that for the Clone Wars game and glad the combat was improved here but I kinda think this is button mashing more than the complete saga still, at least definitely with how I approach both. I thought there was supposed to be a heavy attack in this game? I thought I remembered hearing something about it way back a couple years ago when they were in development and thought it would’ve been the Y/triangle button but instead that’s just a useless counter :/
@@protector_of_the_realms In saber combat in TSS if you spam only a single attack button like square, the enemy will eventually start blocking and you won’t do any damage to them until you switch to another attack, whether that be the force attack with circle, the jump up attack with X etc. Whereas in TCS while timing your attacks for the combo was cool, doing the jump + attack move or Jedi slam move over and over was far more effective
@@shadow-squid4872 yeah ik, I always switch up in this game between X, A and B attacks. In the Complete Saga though I’d never use the jump attack more than like twice in one battle because it wasn’t fun but when I fought my brother as Obi-wan vs Anakin it was so cool to outmanoeuvre each other with the combat and do a back flip at the right time when either of us would go for the jump attack haha. It quite often ended in a stalemate with the lava taking us both so we had to do that bit again. This game is just depressing with how they rushed through the levels, putting no effort into their design so they can rush and retell the story of the films but worse so there’s not even a point to that and there’s not even an ounce of challenge in anything. There’s no timed or co-operative segments or places where you can fail if you crash or neglect an aspect. They even took out the platforming and just have you pressing A for the game to take you to the next platform. It’s all just very one dimensional and boring and I can’t fathom how after almost 20 years of advancement in technology, it still turns out to be an actual worse game than the original
Another thing I liked about count is he says "I almost lost my head there" when he dies. Such a great detail in my opinion.
IIRC, Maul spoke 1 time in Phantom Menace. It was the Clone Wars & Rebels CGI series that really developed his personality (if you didn’t know, he survived being cut it half. That’s how he appeared in Solo). If they add DLC characters referencing either of those shows, I would love spider legs Maul.
I love playing as Count Dooku. In part (well mainly) cus of his lightsabre. Like in the film, I love his curved handle and I love his general look altogether. And his fighting style and force abilities are great. And in all honesty, I love playing him that much, I haven't actually played any of the other sith lords.
Count Dooku is my favorite in the game. His elegant makashi fighting style is exactly how I wanted it to be, and they got his character and voice down perfectly!

Don't forget Snoke is the only one who can simply crush lightsaber doors. I've done it myself instead of cutting a hole, he just smashes the door to bits.
Any Sith character can do that, actually, it's just easier to notice as Snoke since he literally can't cut it anyway

Given that this is the Skywalker Saga, they'd have to acknowledge The Legends Timeline in the gamr despite all the references to Disney Timeline exclusive events and characters

i love him other than his fighting style feeling so sluggish. I had the same issue with a lot of others which is why palpatine (red) is my favorite. he just feels smooth and fast paced to play

One of my favourite characters is Sith Rey because she is a cool character. I wish that they had done more with her, she was on the big screen for a few seconds

If I could make the whole sith roster I woud change some things. First I would make palpatine have 3 styles: prequel with gold lightsaber and stab attack, original with fully blast forcelightning and a sequel version. I would make 4 darth vader styles: sith eyed Anakin, burned Anakin, darth vader normal and darth vader without his helmet. Then I would make 3 darth maul styles: the normal darth maul with a cape and you can turn on and off your second blade, darth maul without cape and the clonewars version with the cyborg legs. Asajj ventres with 2 styles: cape on and off and you can turn your two lightsabers into the double bladed one. 2 styles for count dooku: with and without cape. Kylo ren with all the styles that are in the skywalker saga plus ben solo training. Snoke: how he is in the skywalker saga and maybe a lightsaber version. Sith rey. And I would've loved the game a tiny bit more if it had a character customizer like the dc supervillain game or marvel superheroes 2, I reall want a game where you can create your own character and customizer your blaster or lightsaber and change your fighting style.

The Emperor is my favorite so far. I love his force lightning and how he sometimes sort of imbues his lightsaber with it. Dooku’s a close second. Snoke looks cool (I don’t have him unlocked yet) but while not having a lightsaber means he has very unique attacks, I’m assuming it also means he can’t block, deflect, throw his lightsaber, or cut nor climb walls.

"It is accurate to how he is in the original trilogy" Expect darth Vader isn't actually anywhere near that slow in cannon that was largely just the way characters were choreographed in those movies given the limited technology they had at the time
You say “ranking the unique abilities” but every charvater in the class has the same exact abilities so it’s really just a skin

@@sebbepvp1207 no, but those are all purely aesthetic. The system in this game where you can use any charcater of that class to do any mission. There won’t be an objective that one can do that another can’t. Obviously the visual and aesthetics are different but abilities are the same
@@mastersword648 Abilities are the same? alright you clearly don't know what ablity is. Abilities in this case are described as the characters force power. So if one character has the ablility to shoot lightning, and another character has the ability to use force freeze means the abilites are indeed different to each other. And another thing you clearly don't understand is that the abilities isn't just visual and aesthetics. for example force freeze (like you can figure out from the name) freezes people while force lightning shoot out bolts of lightning. Another example of this is that dooku's force lightning deals more damage than sidious. If you call all this "the same ability" It would be the same as if darth vader and sidious (in the movie, not the game) would have the EXACT same ability which they clearly don't have.

A bit of easter egg (I guess, also I might be wrong because I only played until Ep 6)
When you're on a duel with a boss, specifically when clashing sabers where you need to spam Y/Triangle and B/Circle, most bosses will get "slashed" by your lightsaber if you successfully did the spamming thing. Meanwhile, if you're against Vader in Ep 5, even if you win the spamming thing, Vader still manages to counter or even slash you back (also force push/choke you if I'm not wrong)
