I have almost the same haircut, and the same hair color with bleach, and this was my first time bleaching it and i didn't know how to do my roots or whats happening when i cut my hair, thank you for this video. You have helped me a lot. I was really scary to damage too much my hair, fortunately it's fine, just it's a little be dry, but nothing too bad. So thank you honey because there are almost no videos on bleaching in short hair and how to keep it. Xoxo 💖greetings from Chile
I’ve watched countless bleaching/dyeing hair videos and this is by far one of the most helpful! I’ve been going to the salon to bleach my hair silver for a few years which was breaking my bank account so after a few months into the quarantine, I finally decided to try doing it on my own at home. I’ve tried Wella’s toners in the past and I’ve been an avid fan/user of Fanola’s products for a while now but your videos are the only ones that I’ve found aligns with the products I’ve tried. (I’m so glad that I stumbled upon ur channel after searching up a formula for T14 & 050.) I just ordered the Schwarzkopf bleach/developers having run out during my first at-home bleach session and I can’t wait for them to arrive to test out your tips/method! Thank you so much for sharing your hair bleaching/toning techniques Kristina!
@@KristinaAngelina I also just purchased the Fanola no yellow and the no orange shampoos after seeing your videos, you are like my guru on my platinum journery!
Just Bleached my box cut ..ICY WHITE....used 40 developer and 2 times bleaching process and washed with purple shampoo...I absolutely ❤️it... Beautiful I must say myself..Thank You
I've spent hundreds of dollars on hairstylists. They always leave me with yellow hair and it doesn't ever get properly blonde. I questioned if they did that on purpose so that I would come back and spend $200 more every couple weeks. I've been doing my own hair for years and do an amazing job too!
Same here,I think they're worried more about damaging the hair than getting it as light as they can. With blondme and olaplex I can go from 9-1 in one sitting!
Is Schwarzkopf blondme suitable for African American hair. I'm gray around my ears and the front of my head. Tried Loreal before but it just doesn't seem to lift my hair is naturally black. I'm anxious to try Schwarzkopf 🙂
I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried Ion Absolute Perfection Booster to your bleach mixture, it’s will change your life! It’s a known dupe for Olaplex, it’s amazing, inexpensive, and protects your hair from the damage. Check it out girl, you won’t be disappointed!
sorry I'm late lol but if there's any yellow areas you can repeat the bleach on those portions only and watch closely! you want a pale yellow color - hope this helps
Hi I bleached my hair from a reddish purple color, and it came out a light pink .. I Did the homemade peroxide and baking soda to try to do a second bleaching and it came out lighter pink however I’m trying to get the pink completely off so I tried to the next day after a deep conditioner re-bleach it again but it’s not working. What can I do to read completely remove the pinkish without cutting it off question thank you
Do u sometimes bleach the sides and the back only? I have ur exact same hair and I do it at home my only issue is that I cut the sides every 10 days which leaves me with dark sides compared to the rest. I do not want to do a full bleach that frequently so I do not damage the top bit.. my hair is shorter from the top so it’s hard to bleach the roots only
Hey I’ve done this before but wasn’t a fan of the look - you can totally do it but then you’ll have fresh sides with the root look on top - just preference but can be done and I probably wouldn’t bleach your scalp every 10 days could really damage your skin
Hi Kristina! Love your videos! I have a quick question (btw im white, silver, gray...) I do the whole deal with the t18/t114/050, purple shampoos erc. etc.- Im wondering if you have any quick fix- something to brighten up your hair in between toning and/or bleaching? You know that dull, dingy, muddy stage that for me not even purple shampoo can brighten. I heard a bleach bath will brighten up dingy hair but of course Id have to re-tone after. Im always looking for tricks that might help this in the inbetween - am i making any sense ?? Lol...
I need advice ive bought Schwarzkopf Professional BlondMe Bond Enforcing Premium Lightener 9+ 450g & Schwarzkopf Professional BlondMe Premium Developer 9% 30 Vol 1 Litre. But ive also bought Schwarzkopf blondme bleach & tone- cool addictive . So i Don't know if I should just use the toner with the bleach . Or use colour, bleach then toner. My hair dyed black but I want to go platinum blonde.
You say the toner is less vibrant after a few washes. Would you suggest up-keep with just a purple shampoo, or would you recommend going back and toning again as well?
I never tone again after the initial bleach and tone process - I keep up with purple shampoo or ill dye it with sparks/ pravana silver hair dyes mixed with conditioner
I have not been brave enough to do my own bleach job... yet. I have short hair and my hair stylist uses blonde me bleach. I purchased my own wella toners in T18 and T 14. My stylist puts me under a dryer. What do you think about the heat? I would really appreciate your opinion. Love your hair!!
Hey ! TYSM! Heat is not advised for this bleach and does really well without it - personally I like to put a plastic on top and then a towel - that way the bleach will stay moist and working from the natural heat from your head and not dry out... hope that helps
Put conditioner on the parts of your hair you don’t really want to get toned which is in most cases the ends and then focus on your roots - or make sure you lather the shampoo and rinse right off - hope this helps
Do you have to use the wella toner? I have dark hair and I'll have to bleach it a couple times. Can I use the fanola no orange as a toner? To keep it looking ok?
Hi my boyfriend is going to dye his hair on Wednesday. He bought the blonder bleach from wella. And color touch 10/81. His hair is really dark brown/black. And very short. What do you reccomend for the process? His hair dresser friend said ge would need a 20 and 30..maybe even 40 developer. After watching your video now I'm a little worried haha. Id love some words of advice. Thank you so much.
I’d say use the 30 never 40 ... apply the bleach put a shower cap or plastic bag and a towel on top to keep the scalp warm which will help the hair process better - make sure the hair is a pale yellow no golddd no orange make sure the hair doesn’t have any shimmer to it - it needs to be pale blonde for the toner to work... and when the toner fades it’ll still look good as long as you keep up with purple shampoo... if your bleaching is still an orange and u tone it may look nice but after a wash or 2 you’ll go right back to orange / beige and it won’t look good
@@KristinaAngelina thank you, most speedy reply on TH-cam ever...! I am asian, started with virgin black level 1 hair. did 3 rounds of bleach and letting it rest a week. I'm going to try that sugar hack! thank you Kristina, you are a true silver angel!!!!
I do mine right away - I wash and condition and if I think I need another session I towel dry and apply- I don’t want the bleach to work so strongly so I apply to damp hair for no more then 25-30 min - as always proceed with caution
Omg!!!! Love your hair. I already messed up so bad on my bleaching :( should have seen this sooner. I have shoulder length hair, do you recommend I use foil to keep my hair from overlapping or how should I go about it because I am in desperate need of help.
Thank you, apparently 😊I am doing almost everything you’ve recommended to do. On my next bleach party, (I bleach my mom to😬) I am gonna try the sugar. I already got the bleach you recommended.
Ee should have found you before I started bleaching I messed it up so bad lol used additive w toner and now I have blue streaks in the blonde lol suggestions? Tia

I've heard it works well - to play it safe you can go with 20 vol for minimum damage may take a little longer but its safest
I have thin afro hair and it works for me pretty well!!
I also use 20 vol :)
Toner is a toner if you use 10 volume, but if you use your toner with 20 volume, then it becomes a dye
I love how you explain i totally learn a lot 🥰 Thankyou

Fanola's No yellow or No Orange are my favorites!

Wella t18 for platinum and a dash of 050 if you felt your hair was very yellow after bleach
