Some of the best dialog I have ever heard in a WW II movie. My old man and his pals were in the war, and they used to sound off just like that all the time. Those guys were my heroes.
Lee Marvin is always a great actor to watch in these old war movies with Lee Marvin actually served in the military during WWII ; A Great Actor indeed !!
The cinematography and the sets were amazing back in 1952. Appreciate you uploading this classic World War II movie with Lee Marvin. I remember watching him in the dirty dozen as a kid with Telly Savalas going crazy.😂 enjoy your day. Everyone stay warm wherever you’re at.🥶❄️⛄️🏂🏔️🎿
Never seen it , great movie . Anything with Lee Marvin is worth watching . If I remember right ,he was wounded on Iwo or at least one of the islands in the Pacific . A lot of these great actors were actually veterans.🇺🇸
I loved the attention to detail when removing your weapon magazines when entering a CP. Another movie I liked that did the same was "Attack" also with Lee Marvin.
fully agree check out.......... the train.. starring burt lancaster another great black and white ww2 movie ............... maybe his best brilliant film
Simple and unpretentious, with good banter between the American soldiers. Did any of you notice the line of dialogue which made its way into 'Dog Soldiers', 40 years later? The story absolutely did not unfold as expected.
Now I know why I’ve never heard of this movie! You’d think Lee Marvin being a veteran wouldn’t have went along with them trying to leave a fellow soldier in the field.
It’s interesting that except for the equipment, this could be any war. They don’t show or even say who the enemy is because it’s not important to the story.
15 minute’s into the film you see a dream sequence, that would never be made today in the WOKE world. I think it is fantastic even though it was made in 1952. Sit back enjoy specially the policewoman in the back ground in high heels , short skirt.
funny comming from a man who voted fopr a nazi.. only a nazi pardons 1500 nazis on the first day. only a nazi gives the sig heil salute from the podium of the inaguration. only a nazi builds concentration camps to round up brown people. only a naqzi keeps a hitler speech book next to his bed and quotes it

he was brilliant in emperor of the north.............. outstanding in it maybe his best movie it went under the radar but brilliant
Regardless of any flaws, the situation this flick portrayed does bring forth the character and frustration of such an experience. Tku for post.
What a great movie! Thank you for uploading it!
A really good movie with fine characters and excellent writing. Highly recommended.

One of my favorites. I think you would have to have been in the service to really appreciate this movie.

I've always enjoyed single-location films like this one. Every bit as good as 12 Angry Men! Thanks for uploading.
I got the 12 angry men vibe too. So I have to agree with you
THE BRIDGES AT TOKO-RI

If a war could be won with words, these eight would win it in one day, good grief 😂
Check out the dames!
One sorry ass squad, one dude in the entire squad with guts.
And then I woke up...
There is a problem with your title: (1952) WW2 Movie -- WW2 ended in 1945.. Must be the Korean War your refering too.
1952 is when the movie came out. Not when it took place.
1952 is the year the movie was made, not when it was set
@@ssechres Then why and the very beginning of the movie 1952 covers the lower part of the screen?
@ IDK. They didn’t ask me. You can google information about the movie.

In the middle of a battle zone the guys wearing his dress uniform.
They made all these C movies after all the good war movies were made this is one of the worst of them lol
I lasted 52 minutes. Ho hum. I gave up & surrendered.
Too long, and too much bullshit. Corny ending. Should have Small in the hole.
lousy war movie, just talk, talk and once in a while a sniper kill. VERY SLOW
Dumb boring movie.
...TO MUCH TALK...NOT MUCH ACTION.....
Brilliant video 👍👍THANK YOU
