So glad you’re back in the UK, Matt. We have the best running scene. And Ed is undoubtedly my new running hero; smashing out 6x3K with 5.20 floats whilst holding your iPhone pumping out glam rock? Statue worthy.
And routes here are shit except Hampstead heath (stupidly hilly) or Totteridge fields (hills again). Hills aren’t the problem, the problem is lack of good routes, and only good routes are very hilly
Really nice video. it is interesting that these are pro athletes really good, but if they run intervals at 3:03 they can't even get close to marathon world record that was done at 2:52. it makes you realize even more how amazing kipchoge is
@@deanevans3968 i am guessing he was on a different training plan, to race at 2:52 you need to run your intervals at least at 2:45 it was just an observation, not a criticism. i can't run 3k at 3:03 so i can't judge :)
Bit late but didnt see a response. 8k is a random distance as 1500m/mile, 5k, 10k or marathon are the main distance indicators. 8k in 37 is about a 22:30 to 23:00 5k. That would get you about top 25% in a casual event. The time is however nowhere near subelite (think 16-18 min 5k level) and you're extremely unlikely to podium. Depending on how much you've trained you might have potential though for that to fall with more training. So essentially it's better than many casual runners can achieve but slow for any competitions even smaller ones.
Their float is way too fast ... Like what’s the point of float if it’s not even moderate pace? Those kinds of float paces is closer to what guys like Kipchoge and the likes do, and they are way faster than these guys.

"we have the best ruuning scene"....Sooo true!! I live in Brazil and if there's one thing I miss about the UK, it's the running vibe.
Bushy park is the kind of place you can pass 8 Olympians on your Sunday stroll
Adam Clarke seems like the kinda guy who listens to Pitbull
So much inspiration from this. Adam is capable of so much more than 2:15. Just look at his form!! I can see him going 2:11
Thanks all the info in km!!! Keep up the good work!
Great athletes, great video!
Ed is the guy we all aspire to be. Let's be honest
such a legend
Terrible barnet
@@Quincycle one minute you're dissing him and then replying to other comments saying ignore that guy?
heard one of you SE guys is running the OMM?! nice one, good luck!
Such a beautiful place to run around!
1k “float” at 3.16 😂😂😂. They’re avin a larf!
Very useful video for me, thank you 🥰🥰
Who need a watch, obviously!
Me sir I need watch
So wish I lived on that side of London. Way better running routes there than East London.
I’m in north. Really fucking annoying compared to the south. No flat parks near me. Nearest good park is regents

Awesome video I like these kind of videos what is on Ed Godard’s where did he get it
Can't believe the guy runs with a phone in his hands 🙈
Anyone know where to get Ed's shirt with the cowboy hats on it? 🤠
I got the patches on eBay !

Who know in 10 years?
Well it is a world record right? I mean if everyone could do it…
Ed has Averaged 2:52 for his 10k pb...

tryna make my cahnnel as good as yours. keep it up man!

I'm from Morocco. I run 8 km in a time of 37 minutes. Is this good? Note that I am 43 years old
Good! I hope you enjoy running. You can search for age grade calculator to understand how your performance compares to younger runners.
@@liljemark1 When I was 17 years old I played 1 km in 2:40 minutes. Hhhhh
I'm from Morocco as well I'm 48 of age my 10k time trial is 45. So keep up. try even harder to run by feel and focus on your aerobic base.

So what? They should float like Kip if they want to run like Kip
