    • @adreiiaii510
      @adreiiaii510 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@discipline_clip It's probably because the fighters in pro-wrestling aren't trained and disciplined fighters, they're actors that live in a gym.
      They don't know what they're doing and sometimes shit goes off script and they hurt someone or get hurt. Couple that with the psychological side. You step into a boxing ring in a live fight, you're expecting to get your ass kicked. Your body is ready, you're focused on protecting yourself and hurting your opponent. In a rigged wrestling match, you're just focused on entertainment and following through with the rehearsed match. Someone fucks up and swings too hard, misses and hits you in the wrong area, grabs you the wrong way... you're not expecting it and, well... off to the hospital you go.
      Meanwhile, trained fighters know exactly what sort of damage they can cause by hitting someone a certain way. Their technique is significantly better and their mind and body are prepared to take a beating.

    • @WaniZame
      @WaniZame 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@adreiiaii510 That’s not really a fair assessment on why they get injured. Pro wrestlers are essentially stunt men. It’s nothing to do with their skill level of fighting. Bret Hart famously said a good fighter hurts the opponent a good wrestler protects their opponent. The top promotions are trained! Just not as fighters but as wrestlers. They know how to grab people. Most injuries are picked up from the acrobatics not the punches or submissions. Then there’s the drug abuse and the impact on the psyche. Unlike MMA they aren’t regulated as they aren’t a formal sports so steroids and drugs are rife. Wrestlers performing multiple times a month carrying injuries so get addicted to pain killers. You have to remember an MMA fighter maybe fights 3 times a year. Wrestlers perform 2-5 times a week. Your comment shows a snootiness that jsut isn’t fair.sure it’s fake and it’s not real combat but it’s an art form and a dangerous one at that.

    Don is the best!!
    I grew up watching him fight.
    I'm totally stealing, "He asked if we could go outside. And, I said, what way."
    I doubt I'll ever need it.
    Just a great line.

    They broke the mold with Don.
    Talk about pure ❤️ heart.
    Pure talent.
    The word Quit isn't in his vocabulary.
    Fighting through pain and injury. Frye had how many back and neck surgeries.
    If you can't admire and respect him as a man and one of the greatest fighters in MMA history and in any combat sport, boxing included.
    The part with Takeyama. Watching the fight re runs. And his ( Don's ) humility and kindness in this segment. And throughout his career just elevates him into a God or special spirit and entity.
    You can watch this as the history of an all time legend. And his fighting style and his raw desire to win.
    There are few videos on TH-cam or anywhere else that serves as a complete inspiration in the struggles of life.
    My takeaway is " screw it, just keep moving forward and banging away. Just belive and keep fighting and you will win more than you loose"
    He's a hero basically 🎉❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
