You people know nothing about the world he lives in. The drugs destroy the brain , it never functions at the correct speed , Their memories are so inhibited . They can't talk at normal speed esp when trying to recall . Their memories are so slow. To start off with the world they live in is so totally different to a normal world. There's no way you can assess a drug user by the same means you'd assess a normal person. I don't blame you cos 10 yrs ago I'd have thought exactly the same but sadly I've been exposed to this drug world that does NOT function like we do.
Their long term memory is there but it comes back in waves. Their short term is sketchy for most.

This is not the way you go about proving innocence. If you'd have watched the whole trial, his stories and questions don't point to innocence. Asking for people to be drug tested on the stand to try and divert accusations is crazy.
Oh, and shaving your head, beard and then painting yourself white won't help either.
Get a lawyer to argue for you. Noone I have ever seen represent themselves has been innocent of anything.

If you all have been following this case you would see how all the witnesses have different stories as to what happened. The “base” of the story is the same. But the technicalities of it all are all different. The boyfriend said his GF locked the car and came up right behind him. But then Adam testified that she was in the car for awhile and he called her up. You’d think the BF would recall these events the best, no?

Sounds like he was trapping/Hustling and his uncle and the rest of em are users he has relations with the girl (which is common for dealers sometimes) it been two days they’re high and tryna finesse him . He didn’t see the signs but he felt every sign . Eventually they conjure up a plan and then stuff hit the fan. My opinion.

I believe he's guilty. If it was truly self-defense, he would've stayed at the scene and given a statement. Instead he stole Toni's purse to get the vape pen with his prints.
Edited to add more. In this rambling story, he said that either Adam or Brian shot the gun that went through the wall, but Angel and Ron testified that defendant shot Toni before the bullet went through the wall and grazed Ron. I believe the others version of the way events happened. This story doesn't make sense in the way he tells it. In this version, he wasn't threatened with a hammer by Ron, he wasn't held prisoner for days like he said in his police interrogation, and I don't find him credible at all. His story is changing. Yes, he was bit on the face, but I believe it was after he killed Toni. Otherwise, why wouldn't he have shot Brian or Adam if he wrestled the gun away from them. Also, why wouldn't he have taken pics of himself being all bloody the night of the shooting for a self-defense case? It's telling to me that his blood wasn't found anywhere in the apartment, even with being bloody and rolling around on the ground. There's zero evidence that the events happened the way he claims.
Is guilty yes we're doing such a horrible thing but there's a reason why I believe that he was trying to make sure he didn't die and what happened happened and thank God whatever the jouiors say will be we will see this whole thing is so crazy to me

Okay, after going back looking at the opening for this trial. I now, understand why math was in the picture and I knew it from the beginning these must have been white victims. Having knowledge of this he's going to be guilty no matter what, and it's only because they're white victims.
That have been many situations where somebody Black, has voluntarily involved himself with white people and even ended up missing or dead.
As I said earlier, he is going to be found guilty and convicted of this this murder. As far back in history white women have always either cause the death of a Black man or his freedom.

Unless there was a totally sober person there, NON of those people knew then, nor now, of exactly what really went down.
ANYTIME there's people doing meth, there is ALWAYS some kinda bullshit/drama that goes down. No matter what.
In fact, I wouldn't sentence him to life, the other individuals need to be held accountable as well, and they should serve something... but I know non of it was intentional murder. I think that it's a case of drug induced paranoia that went horribly wrong, and Toni got caught up in it . Wish she would have stayed in the car .. His story makes no sense he shot Toni 3 times but the 2 men who supposedly pulled 2 different guns on him and who beat him up he didn't stoot either of them or even shot at them not once but the female that he said himself did nothing but scrolled on her phone he shoots 3 times that doesn't sound at all like the truth.
That's what I said too. He doesn't shoot either guy who's supposedly threatening him, but shoots the girl being quiet. That isn't self-defense. Also, he'd previously said in his police interrogation that he wasn't allowed to leave the house for 4 days, but never mentions that on the stand. He made all this up.

I'm still listening but to be honest, I can't tell if he's reliving trauma or lying and making it up as he went along. I will say that even if he would've taken the stand, he should've gotten a lawyer. At best, an attorney could've helped guide this story with strategic questioning versus him just rambling. He adds too much, rabbit trails...it sounds like there's a million things happening with 15 different people. It's too much.
If I was on the jury it would be hard for me to believe his story because it took so long to get to the fight, he mentioned a lot of irrelevant things like wanting to hookup with Angel.
