I just referred my 14 yr old daughter to your channel. Just wanted to say thank you for being a positive influence on young girls everyday. I've read so many comments from young girls that you have helped out, and you should be so proud of yourself for that! We live in a time where negativity and hatefulness is used all too often. I've never heard of anyone outside of TV throwing toilet paper on someone's house and it's a hedgehog that turns into a ball when touched 😁.

It's when you say Dublin, route and sure its so great , unique and I couldn't even try to mimic it. Glad the bad boy earring stayed on during the interview 😁😁😆 In Birmingham where I was born, the thing we used to change the tv with was our foot. Times have changed.

Growing up I always called them Rollie Pollies XD
I've watched several of these videos from all around the world, and I've not heard anyone call throwing TP on a house what we call it where I'm from. We call it rolling a house. Would have never thought we would have a special word no one else has.

5:16 what ya call it when rain falls and its sunny at the same time a normal day in Ireland is what I call it, we have nothing but rain like few days a week with sun or sun for like a week or two joys of Ireland
Jessie! Haha, the little bug is called a potato bug in Washington (America). I think other places call them rolly-pollies in America too. That made me laugh so much!!!

The rain when the sun shines it usely has a saying depending on the place you are from. In Brazil is "sun and rain, widow wedding" (it rimes in portuguese). There is a place that says that a tiger is going to wed, or somthing. So I think someone was trying to know it there was a saying you had for that.

Yeah, sorry my answers to your 10 questions are over one year late Jessie B, but here they are.
1. Oddly enough, we (U.S.A / Americans) call it TeePeeing as well. Or "TeePeeing someone's house." As to why it's called "TeePee or TeePeeing" two reasons. The first is T.P (TeePee) is the abbreviation for "Toilet Paper." The second is Native Americans will build tents that are literally called "Teepees," yes that is the correct spelling for them. They are usually cone shaped with sicks pointing out of a hole at top and leather wrapped around them. Sticks are used for support and the leather is used for walls. Usually when a house in the U.S.A gets Teepeed it is done as a prank by kids, usually in the 7 to 14 year old age bracket, at the end of the month of October near or on Halloween. Toilet paper will get caught in tree branches and vaguely look like a Teepee. Also houses do get "Egged" as well.
2. The two general names people in the U.S.A use when referring to them are either "Pill Bugs," or "Rolie-Polies." Their actual name is "Woodlouse."
3. Various things, the most popular ones are "Soda," "Pop," " Sodapop," or "Club Soda."
4. We call "Gym Shoes" either "Gym Shoes," "Running Shoes," " Tennis Shoes" or "Sneakers."
5. We call a group of people a "Crowd."
6. Ha, I kind of answered this one in a stand alone comment already. We call them, and their actuall name is "Daddy Longlegs."
7. The most common termswe use are " Grandma / Grandmother," "Grandpa / Granddad / Grandfather." some lesser used terms I've heard are "Nanna" for "Grandma," and "Pappy" for "Grandpa." I personally use Grandma / Grandpa.
8. We call it a "Grocery Kart."
9. "Partly Cloudy" is my best guess. But I'm with you on this, I don't think anywhere has a single word, term or phrase where it literally means "the sun is shining while raining." Sorry I need to make a little note here because I don't know how this is for Irish folk. In the type of English I use when a word starts with "PH" it is pronounced as an " F," I don't know why that is though, but I can give a few examples. "Phase" we pronounce it as "Fase," "Phrase" we pronounce it as "Frase," "Pharmacy" we pronounce it as "Farmacy." I hope that helps.
10. Same as what you do "Controller, remote, TV remote, TV controller."

My answer for question 9 is called a sun shower. That's what it's commonly known as in the U.S. I found myself saying all of the words with you, and it was fun seeing how many were different!

Don't know if anyone has answered this yet, but the bug is the "roly poly": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armadillidiidae. For some reason I've always called it a "potato bug", but that doesn't appear to be common.

I'll have my first job interview on Wednesday. I'm applying for a job as a flight attendant at Ryanair and they're an Irish company and I really don't want to screw it up! I know my English pronounciation, speaking and hearing could be improved but I have never heard the Irish accent before and with you, I'm trying to understand it better and maybe speak similar to that myself (since I don't sound American/English/Australian, more like an invented English accent 😂😂) So I would like to say thank you so much :)))) for. doing this video ♥ It helped me a lot, I'll also watch your other videos

I personally think you have a bit of a country accent but mostly like a neutral accent! A lot of people from the centre and south west and even galway have quite neutral accents
