      Jay Shetty may have taken this from Dan Kennedy. Most of his quotes seem to be a mash up of other people's original work and thoughts. Well document on the internet. Nevertheless, he does help a lot of people and that's good I guess.

    Perfectly said. How anyone likes vs how anyone loves his or her job is an impact on their performance. The people that we work with make great difference because we spend a good 8 hours of our time with them and collaboration, teamwork and respect matter.

    This can be applied between human and animals. Though animals don’t speak but they have senses like us. I remembered when there was one cat that moved in our house. I did feel that the cat was stressed and felt unsafe the way it reacts... however I managed to feel it safe... and I told my nephew and daughter never touched the cat if they aren’t ready like if they felt a bit scared as it will hurt them. And if they wanted to touch it I had to be beside them so I could guide them on how to carry it.

      100%! We humans are not as smart as we think we are. One of the proofs is how we perceive animals. Like objects to test on, instead of valuable members of our ecosystem, with their own emotional and existential value.

      In my own perspective, it is because a lot of people wanted to limit themselves. I wonder whether a lot of human being have valued The Law Of Devine Oneness. It is absolutely true that all human beings are interconnected through creation. Whatever we put out there whether it is good or bad it will always have ripple effect. Free will of choice is always on our hands to do shortcuts or the right path.

    There are three things to get psychological safety by design:
    1. Teach/Train everybody to understand "Problem ownership/Owning the problem" (we have an issue we need to get it fixed)
    2. Teach/Train everybody to understand "startup mentality" (we have an opportunity)
    3. Teach/train everybody to understand "emphatic listening". If it does not happen in practice, then escalate.

    1. Taking care of employees is really good and asking them, if they need anything to do their jobs well, is completely fine.
    2. People who know the value of Gratitude, will definitely reciprocate in a positive way, they can recognise that TRUE CARE, which they are getting from the managers.
    3. On the other hand, some employees take advantage of this and they be dishonest towards their managers as well as their responsibilities...
    My question is, how to deal with such ppl?

    Another great video. Wish I would have found you earlier in my career. However at pushing 60 I am working hard to make a difference with much thanx to you. One off the wall question. Do you have any special advice for managing a off shore team that may not be fully aligned with your companies Vision, or don't see it as theirs? That is my latest challenge.

      @@Vintagegijoefreak how does he know what leadership is? It’s easy to say what sounds right, but much harder to do it in the real world. I work in an engineering leadership position and this guy goes around talking onstage and podcasts for a living, so I think I have the right to comment lol

    • @Neonb88
      @Neonb88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@parmenides2576 Yeah it's a pretty common problem in the self help industry. They have some insight and interesting ideas, but definitely the experience is not there, and being able to observe and analyze from a distance is very different from being in the tough decision-making situation and making a good choice
