In the UK our nanny state government is saying kids shouldn’t even be allowed to sit in a tractor with their dad driving until they’re 14 or something. We’re turning into a nation of idiots. Go guys. Get your kids out their learning practical skills.
I don't know the little boy's name younger that Jamie's son driving farm equipment. You should look up chicken Ricky and watch him if you want to see something amazing.😊@@Building_Jays_Way
I am always entertained by the videos on this channel. Behind the scenes, remodel or gardens. Top shelf content.🎉 Much love and blessings to all ❤️ Stay safe and be kind 🙏
Jay, fantastic content mate. I had expected to see a bit more of your desk build but instead get to meet Jamie's very polite and clever young chap 😊. Thanks for sharing
@@Kristina_Australia so I put three videos out a month and I rotate back-and-forth between a Perkins video and a DOI at the house. So the next video will be on the deck project. Thanks so much for watching.
I think its great that Jaime is teaching his son at a young age to use tools and heavy equipment. When my grandson was 9 we took down a rotting deck. Some of the wood was still ok so my husband showed him how to use power tools. They built a chair for the two story (plus deck) playhouse my husband built out of the deck wood. They both enjoyed the experience.
Ok, Jay. What is it about painting that you hate soooooo much?🤣 Is it one of those jobs you just despise? We all have them. Keep the great videos coming!
if Erik's SMB meeting used same acronym as Corp America does, then "EPIC" = Excellence, Professionalism, Innovation, and collegiality - or Be Excellent, Professional, Innovative and Collegiate". As example, see young Master Perkins - who operated that digger like a champ, used "please" when making a request to his Pops, and raked driveway post-digging! Cute kid, NICE kid - more of him por favor.
Love watching these behind the scenes videos! you guys are hilarious and the editing is very well done. Love watching your channel grow man! keep up the good work!
Sounds like a business conference in Asheville, lol. John was right about the splinter/sliver thing, definitely heard sliver in Chicago even if it wasn't exclusive
@Building_Jays_Way i love all your content every video I watched i felt the like family busting nuggets on my brother's as we work. You guys build beautiful homes and even the small projects like the shed was great. Stay safe and stay blessed you guys are killing it 🙌 🙏
@@Building_Jays_Wayyep! I’d rather have a specialized tool that I don’t use often compared to having to use 5 other common tools to do a single task.
The more welders there are on the team the better. Carpentry is great, but weather's getting crazy lately. Clients might appreciate some re-inforcement.
when i get sap on my hands i rub dirt in it to dry it up then wash it off with dawn dishsoap same might work for rays truck but might wanna take it to a carwash with a brush and run the degreaser thru it and scrub scrub scrub!
It might shift "hard" because you're forcing it. Bump it into neutral then guide it into gear. Doesn't matter what gear you're going for, bump to neutral and then into the next gear.
My vehicle gets sap crap too... friend gave me 3D One Compound, then later tried Meguiar's (to see if dif. b/w expensive product + $8 bottle).. and both worked same - excellent. so keep in trunk - clean as need. just apply w/ some of those "Tub of Towels" ya'll recent got.
Say hey, Jay! Man, I can't believe after everything that Jaime has done for you, when he wanted you to take that stuff to your house, you were all like "No way!" That was all ungrateful of you man. I see how you are now. Jaime's gonna remember that the next time you ask him for some wood for the new deck. He'll look you right in the eye and say "No way!" That'll learn you. Hahahaha.
Jamie's boy on the digger was amazing! so confident - and only 9! good for him.
It’s freakin awesome I think. Not enough kids getting into the trades!!!
Taking it to show and tell would be the best @@Building_Jays_Way

Jay for the win on having the right tool for the job at hand!! Ray / Jay cruise the neighborhood in Jaime Jeep in classic!! KUTGW
Was super fun!!
Your videos are fun to watch. I like it when you include family members ❤
Glad you like them!
I really don’t care about Ray’s kitchen. That said, I’m glad to be seeing more of him on this channel.
Thanks!!
@@Building_Jays_WayI’d still like to see Ray’s kitchen

paint looks real good
Tell Ray to try and use white vinegar to remove the tree sap if he hasn't gotten it off already. Worked for me.
OMG I couldn't stop laughing in the end "JUST 2 DUDES" " Like Riding a BIKE"
lol.

Hey Jason, if you want to give Jamie the business, ask him if those trailer axles are rated for the weight of that mini excavator 😂😂😂
Will do!
Jason, I can't help but ask... How is your toe?? Great video, you and Ray are two of the best!!
Pausing to say that kid was a damn good machine operator!
Yes!!!
Jamie doesn't like being upped by Arlo for figuring things out...LOL
🔥
Bought one of those flexible extensions 15 years ago for a specific task. Never needed it again. But I still have it cause ya never know right?
Was perfect tool!!
@@Building_Jays_Wayyep! I’d rather have a specialized tool that I don’t use often compared to having to use 5 other common tools to do a single task.
The right tool for the job . Perfect example lol

Great point!
Jamie needs to take some pointers from his son 😂😂😂
😃👍🏼👊🏼
😎
Imagine what's it's like being a thirteen year old operating a crane and having it be nothing special. That's what it's like having Jamie as your dad.
Lol
Whoa I thought at 9:16 were Ray’s fingers 😱 but turned out to be acorns 🤦🏽♀️
Same thing. lol
@@Building_Jays_Way 😂
Tell Ray to use rubbing alcohol to get the tree sap off.
Jaime’s boy, widow maker!😬
Pro Tip: Olive oil dissolves tree sap. 😉
Jaime surprised me quit a bit this vid 😂😂🤣
How so?
Hawk tuah?
It’s so out there right now it just came out. lol. Jaime is as innocent as they come!! Was funny though right???

Rays a rookie!! lol.
Tell Ray that the zap comes out with rubbing alcohol. .
Great fuckin video!
I know you said "craftsmanship" when you were talking about Jaime's drink holder but I'm sure you were thinking "crapmanship".
lol!! Yep!
Use Crisco to get the sap off.
Ray needs use isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber towel to get the sap off.
Pro tip

Tell Ray he needs to use some Goo-Gone to get rid of the sap on his truck.
Will do.
Jamies son is a dark haired version of him 😊
rubbing alcohol cleans up that sap!.. try it
Come on jay u gota upload at least once a week 🤷🏾♂️
I would love to!! Don’t have enough content. Thanks for watching!!!
MOs def. U got great content 👍🏾!!
Thanks.
@17:06 I see Jamie installed the anti-millennial & anti-genz car theft protection in his Jeep!
Stick shift!!! lol.
Isopropyl alcohol will take the sap right off of Ray's truck. Might not even harm his bed cover 😉
Is Ray kin to the guy that lives on Fontana Lake
Who?
Someone needs to ceramic coat their truck. Saps a beatch. 👍
Rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer will take the sap off. Peanut butter will also but that's kinda messy.
Jay and Ray need to ask for a pay increase
For real…. Perkins bros are soooo good to us it’s not funny!!!
😂
You should have cut the vertical...
What vertical?
How's your toenail, Jay?
Sucks! Going to fall off
Saw the video where you lost your toenail. You need a steel toed shoe sponsor.
Knock on wood he is a good backer
How are your feet doing?
Terrible but I work though it!!
Better upgrade the tires on the trailer
That's a wasp
