Building in ts2 is therapeutic for me too. I find it so familiar after all these years of using it, I think that's why ts4 build mode drives me crazy. I just recently built a house from an actual floor plan but prefer to build blindly and then refine.
Oh. My. God. I am in awe! This is absolutely INCREDIBLE! This must be my favorite video of yours yet. Where do I begin? The build itself is just STUNNING! I had to paus and find what staircase you used to get it myself - such a beautiful piece! And I LOVE what you did with the office downstairs and the shelf unit, just beautiful. And those object rotators is EXACTLY what I've been looking for: wish I'd had those for my farmhouse. Had to pause and get those too :D The way you tackled every challenge and found clever solutions was amazing to watch - such as the kitchen island. I laughed when I saw it in the irl picture you showed because ... yeah that looks like a challenge indeed. And also your commentary on this video was just glorious: so engaging, fun and inspiring. Those 37 minutes just flew by as if they were more like 10: really nicely done. And that song you used at the beginning of the video was so compelling. It sounded like something out of a simcity game and it added a lot to the whole feeling of the video. I'm not usually a fan of using both voiceover and music at the same time, because I often feel like the music distracts too much: but that song at the start was just perfect. There are so many things about this build that I could mention: such as that incredible master bedroom en suite; the use of stages on the exterior to creade different kinds of elevation and overhangs; the entire entrance and stairwell; the expert use of constrainfloorelevation. Just gorgeous! You did amazing!
Thank youuuuuuu!!! It was such an amazing build to put together because it was just so different to what I usually do and I did have a lot of "challenges" to try to creatively overcome :) I'm always pausing and looking for CC when I watch other speed builds too!!! haha - or I comment, like on your video where I found the Neil kitchen in the first place 😅 Also I'm glad you enjoyed the music - most of it (I think all??) came from the TH-cam library of music. There are some real gems in there if you haven't checked it out yet! And the commentary too hehe - I recorded that first thing after waking up today so I'm glad it went well. Thank you so much xx

This is so nice!! I love it so much. I completely understand your struggle with building modern houses, I've only built a few cause I'm used to more traditional style. Awesome choice of cc and it turned out beautiful!!
Thank you Maks!! I ended up finding more and more cc items that fit the build as I went so it turned out pretty fun - and now I've suddenly got a pretty great modern cc collection so I guess it was worth it 😅

I remember spending many hours building houses in Sims 2 as a kid. Never thought it would go on to be what it is now, with dowloads available etc. I dowloaded a house building software and it doesn’t come close to sims 2, which is almost 20 yrs old

Hello, i've downloaded the house (i had no CC before this) and some of the objets in the lot are blue and blink. When i go to buy mode i have the items downloaded but they are blue does anyone know what is it ?
Oops okay sorry, so blue means you are missing a master file for the object which wasn't included in the download. If you take a look at the objects in blue, they probably need something else downloaded to make them work. The easiest way to solve that is to either a) Google the name of the object and see if you can find the master object, or b) let me know the names of the objects and I can try to locate the master files for you. Sorry about that!

idk why but some of ur Mesh CC conflicts in my game. i have no mods installed except tht house
There's no conflicts, the video description has a link to download the "needed master meshes" to make everything work and not flash blue 👍

There are custom walls available on ModTheSims, by Numenor I believe, with different properties for advanced building 😊
