The Rabbi was so frank about his disagreement as well as appreciation - an amazing child - like honesty was totally disarming. Very impressive to be able to listen with so much honesty. A good discussion between two gentlemen.
One is self or soul or me or atman ( filled with pride and prejudice) the other is greater self, super soul or 'all' or 'param atman' ( filled with unity and understanding). But that's just my personal thoughts.

@drak magic I think you probably misunderstood me and also the meaning of word nirvana...firstly whatever I just said is just me expressing my deep gratitude and love for sadhguru and I know one day everyone has to die but as you said the ultimate goal is nirvana actually there nothing like a goal and attainment when we use word nirvana or enlightenment it is not a goal that one day one may achieve it's just like we are already what we are looking for ... like when buddha realized and become enlightened it only happen to him when he understands the utter foolishness of him trying to accomplish something that is here now in this moment coz nirvana means absolutely being available to the present coz the door is in the present moment not in some future day or after death .. sadhguru is an example of living enlightenment..... hopefully this would be enough for you to understand..^

This is the best interview I have seen. Sadhguru has opened my eyes on suffering. The only way is detach self from mind and body. I will practice this 12 minutes in sleep and in meditation. Although, I disagree on somethings, there is no argument on what Sadhguru teaches is the most essential teaching for the whole world. My respects to him.
Most of us are having disagreement from his saying that he has not got any education. But for that you will get clarification if you watch more interviews of him
This conversation was more interesting than the other sadguru conversations because the Rabbi asked questions to know more and he was truthful enough to admit what he know and what he don't know and what points were unclear to him, persuading Sadhguru to answer. This was a good interview. The host didn't just sit and wobble his head, he actually questioned back intelligently. And Sadhguru is always just awesome anyways.
So much respect to Rabbi David Wolpe! Wonderful dialog with Sadhguru who may sometimes be a a bit too witty partner on the stage, though I'm sure his intentions are genuine too. A lot of praise to people like these two wonderful persons who try to build bridges between people having different beliefs and ideas about the nature of existence.
He's sharp with his words and he always moves around the point until he manages to make it simple for everyone... must take away! I think that was a requirement from our culture... practicality always! Before that question was asked, I took away many things! very inspirational!
