  • This is "Take 2" of making a rivet with my Sweeney and Blocksidge No.10 Fly Press.

    I've made a locating die for the bottom tool which makes things simpler and more accurate.
    The rivet I'm making is made from 10mm stock, and I'm leaving 15mm to form the dome.
    Nothing quite like Fly Press Forging!
    I use the rivets in blacksmithing for making blacksmith's tongs.
    This is just for the search engine it's called a Fly Press and not Flypress.

    I have 2 fly presses - but sadly I lost my balls!
