You're welcome April, it's my pleasure! The drowsy part sounds really weird, maybe you should really ask for advice from a doctor? Hormonal pills take time or the body to adjust, sometimes even 2-3 months. I really hope it works well for you though! Good luck!
@@WendyVaz oh thank gosh I got scared because I have to go on the pill full-time & skip periods completely because of endometriosis and I chose Yasmin because I've heard good things ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!
@ stella mariz. I stared taking Yaz in July this year, tell you what. My ance has gotten really bad. By the end of this month will be my 3rd month on the pill. I hear, it takes a bit longer for your skin to clear. Let's give it until the 4th month. I think then, it will be safe to see your dermatologist.
My gynecologist said that Diane 35 is stronger than Yasmine as well as they both have different ingredients. Yasmine has something called drospirenone which is not in other common contraceptive pills...so I've learnt through research.
My gynaecologist gave me the first month if yaz for free but today i went to buy my 2nd month of yaz and they gave me 3 months worth and i balled my eyes out because it cost $89 AUD. I had no choice but to get the 3 months worth. It really sucked. Now I'm poor for the next 2 weeks.
Tiffany Liu From my personal experience I lost about 5 pounds. My doctor told me that it's normally to gain a little weight or lose a little weight or even stay the same weight. It just differs from person to person.
The action of birth control is making the vaginal mucus thicker making it difficult for sperm movement, and cheat the body that it's pregnant when it's not.. I'm on the second day, hopefully I'm not gonna get all that emotional. 😂😆🤣
I saw another video where a girl went up an entire cup size in a few weeks- could just be related to your hormones changing? Couldn’t hurt to ask your doctor
My sister and I are on the pill, I just started this week, while she had been it it for over 2 years. Her boobs went from a B cup to D. I think this is normal because the pill contains estrogen which then increases the size of your breasts. I’m not complaining haha!
Wendy, I appreciate your video and enjoyed it, but please be careful... you haven't claimed to be a medical professional and you have recommended people to take it... that could be considered medical advice. If someone takes the pills because of your recommendation and ends up with bad results, the responsibility could be on you, and I'm sure that's not something you want. Be careful and good luck ❤️

Switch to Yasmin it helps with crumps and weight loss and acne at the same time, it's the best so far
have you do any hormonal test befor taking birth control?
No I did not!
So I took yaz for only one month,my acne cleared up in 3 weeks, but I started feeling this warmth and pain in my leg so I stopped taking it out of fear that it might be a blood clot. I noticed a small amount of weight loss too which I didn't want, I had no issues with emotions while I was on it
empress Gordon has your acne came back after stoppin the pill? 😀
This is definitely something you need to talk to your doctor about! Feeling warm and pain in leg is described in the side effect section of yaz
@@aiyyoi this can be DVT, this is an adverse reaction, it can be MORTAL, stop taking this pills just because someone in TH-cam tells you its ok to take for acne.
I've been on Yas for quite a few months now and I get the absolute mood swings!! It's so annoying. I get sad really easily and are alot more irritable. But yes it does help with acne and reduces the weight gained due to using the pill
How many kg/ pounds have u lost?
"peels"
I’m on the second week of this pill and feel extremely depressed and anxious out of nowhere. I don’t know if this is from pill but I hope I can get through this bc it’s awful
hey! my nurse told me that depression may worsen on the pill, but it should not be ignored. if It continues, and you are sure that it is caused by the pill, consider getting another prescription or method of birth control. I am also on Yaz and my mood hasn't been impacted as much as I expected, so it is different for everyone. I hope it works out for you, sorry this is happening!
me too i feel it from yasmin
Did u gain weight ?
Taking this med weight should increase?
it didn't increase for me. I think it really depends on individuals
How to used yasmin in first time?example if your menstruation start saturday yiu must be start at saturday not monday?and its ok this used if loss weight.?please can you answer.thank you
No offend but she is NOT a doctor, all of this questions should be answered by a DOCTOR! Plus, BC pills have many adverse reactions!
do i need to take a check up before taking the pill?
My acne is terrible right now in the first 5 days of taking it. My skin is purging like crazyyyy
how is ur skin doing now? i’m going on yaz tomorrow and i’m so scared of my acne getting worse
@@katiehopmans5854 I came off it because it caused issues with my blood pressure so I didn’t have chance to see results. Funny enough though I started washing my face with cetaphil and ditched harsh cleansers a few weeks ago, so far it’s clearing up lovely for the first time in 6 years
how much is yaz? my OB give me prescription
It depends on where you're at I guess? In Malaysia it costs about RM50 (~ USD$12)
~$30 in Canada if you have health insurance and under 25 I think it's free, and or it's less price. But I don't know how much in the USA.
Thanks 😘
889 Philippine money I just bought earlier
did you breakout after stopping it?
Doesn't look she and did her skin is flawless
when you started the pills were you on your period? or did you just start when you got it?
You should start on the first day of your period.
My dermatologist told me to wait till I got my period and take it on a Sunday whichever day it landed on as long as it was a Sunday
was this a birth control pill.. cus majority in the comments taking it for acne problems..
thank you so much! this helped me so much and I want to know if you could plz pray for my roommate, her name is Rebekah and she's starting yaz soooo yazzzzzz
thank you
We have the same side effects of this yaz
I started it today! I hope it works out 🤞🏼
Did u break out? I started to take it five days ago,and I'm breaking out,i don't know if this normal!
How was it ?
Any updates?
Does anyone experience weight gain with this? I'm scared of gaining weight
I had to quit taking them, my breast discomfort & tenderness were just unbearable..
I’m still on it, but I FEEL YOU!! Mine are so sore, all the time! Gonna bring it up to my doctor.
I also experience awful breast pain on this birth control. It’s unbearable.
Hi, i'm using it for 2days. My acne dried a bit, and it's good for me. The main problem with this pill is that, it makes me drowsy. I don't know if this is a normal reaction, but I really don't like it. Haha also, I am always hungry. Hope I'll not gain weight. Btw, thanks for this vlog.
You're welcome April, it's my pleasure! The drowsy part sounds really weird, maybe you should really ask for advice from a doctor? Hormonal pills take time or the body to adjust, sometimes even 2-3 months. I really hope it works well for you though! Good luck!
Did u gain weight
any weight gain? and if so, do you think its because of the hunger?
Helpful!
What’s the other benefits of that pills?? Could it help to reduce the dark or redness mark on face ??? Thanks
Nah it's only to prevent new acnes that comes monthly because of PMS, not for acne scars.
So does this make your mood swings worse?
nope, it helped my mood swings eventually! The first 2 months were like adjsutment period!
@@WendyVaz oh thank gosh I got scared because I have to go on the pill full-time & skip periods completely because of endometriosis and I chose Yasmin because I've heard good things ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!
Hello there! Does anyone here experienced breaking out in the first to two weeks of taking the yaz pills? Kindly help me out 🙁🙁
I've been breaking out since the first week of taking Yaz, it's only day 26, I'm hoping it gets better
@@nandi_m8042 thank you soo much. Same huhu I’ve been breaking a lot too
@ stella mariz. I stared taking Yaz in July this year, tell you what. My ance has gotten really bad. By the end of this month will be my 3rd month on the pill. I hear, it takes a bit longer for your skin to clear. Let's give it until the 4th month. I think then, it will be safe to see your dermatologist.
@@sandlamncwati2138 did it worked ? I have been on the pill for almost 2 months and I still have acne, nothing has changed
Does this pill also prevent pregnancy?
Yes of course! It's a birth control pill 😅
Dear lord, BC pills are for birth control! Using this for acne is ridiculous.
Sandra Acosta shut up
Which is better?? Diane35 or Yasmine??
My gynecologist said that Diane 35 is stronger than Yasmine as well as they both have different ingredients. Yasmine has something called drospirenone which is not in other common contraceptive pills...so I've learnt through research.
Is this like Nikki ?
nikki is the generic brand but they’re the same thing
My gynaecologist gave me the first month if yaz for free but today i went to buy my 2nd month of yaz and they gave me 3 months worth and i balled my eyes out because it cost $89 AUD. I had no choice but to get the 3 months worth. It really sucked. Now I'm poor for the next 2 weeks.
How much did you pay for Yaz???
Marie Johanna Garganera I got it and paid $77 for 3 months worth
@@user-vn3sk2gp1o wow. Here in the Philippines one pack costs 16.6 US dollars worth
Marie Johanna Garganera Wow well lots of stuff are overpriced here, do you get 3 months worth or just 1?
Did it make you gain weight?
no i did not! I did very easily hungry in the first month or so though, I think it's just hormonal reaction
Sam LSD did your acne get better?
Did you gain weight on Yaz?
I didn't. My appetite kinda increased for the first two weeks on Yaz but I tried to still control my diet.
Yasmin/yaz has actually had studies done because majority of people were losing weight.
My boobs is getting bigger without any pain when I started taking this pills from the first week, is it normal?
Not sure, I've not heard about it! Would it be because your period is coming?
I saw another video where a girl went up an entire cup size in a few weeks- could just be related to your hormones changing? Couldn’t hurt to ask your doctor
My sister and I are on the pill, I just started this week, while she had been it it for over 2 years. Her boobs went from a B cup to D. I think this is normal because the pill contains estrogen which then increases the size of your breasts. I’m not complaining haha!
🌕🌕🌕
Wendy, I appreciate your video and enjoyed it, but please be careful... you haven't claimed to be a medical professional and you have recommended people to take it... that could be considered medical advice. If someone takes the pills because of your recommendation and ends up with bad results, the responsibility could be on you, and I'm sure that's not something you want. Be careful and good luck ❤️
