For Clemson the answer is they’re not as bad as GA made them look. And they’re not as good as App made them look. It’s somewhere in between leaning towards the app state side. This is the Clemson offense that was talked about during the off season. Media doesn’t want to hear that since they are so fixed on the freaking portal. They did not play their best game against GA. If that offense comes out like that for the rest of the season they will win the ACC at 12-1. Go Tigers
Georgia did their homework. They watched film and developed a game plan that Clemson played right into their hands. Clemson should started Wesco and Moore and attacked the middle and took deep shots to keep them honest. Kudos to Georgia though. We did all that vs App State and it explodes. Not saying we’d done this to Georgia too but maybe we give them a good close game. Let’s see if we can get consistency though.
Regarding Clemson, the answer is...."Yes, GA is that good!" I told Clemson fans and everyone else, following the huge loss to GA, to stop ragging on Dabo and this Clemson offense. They're actually very good. It just so happened that GA is that much better than them. I told them that Clemson would go on to win the rest of their games and play for the ACC title, which I pick them to win also. And they would start that journey with a huge blowout of App State.
I can see your point but I don’t think it’s that simple. Clemsons coaching staff finally started the 2 five star receivers that rode the bench against Georgia. Klubnik also didn’t realize he had as much time in the pocket and because of that scrambled when it wasn’t needed which didn’t allow plays to develop. The play calling was WAY different due to the fact of having a receiver in the game that can take the top off. I have no skin in either one of these, I just think Clemson is a completely different team then what we seen against Georgia. I’d love to see them rematch later on in the playoffs and see the outcome of that game. With the 2 five star receivers in, with Georgia having to respect the pass (which if you rewatch the Georgia game) they had the box stacked due to lack of receivers being explosive. I’m not trying to say Georgia wouldn’t beat Clemson, but I think it’s a one possession kind of game. Then you throw in the fact the defense don’t get tired come mid through the 3rd quarter due to the offense consistently going 3 and out. Kirby smart has been held to no touchdowns in the first half twice in his career at Georgia. You know who he was playing both those games? You got it, Clemson. I love football, I’d love to see a rematch happen and just see the difference all these changes they’ve made can make.
@chadmccall268 GA never opened up their passing game until the second half. It was mostly dinks and dunks. Clemson's defense was good enough to stop them from having success. They might've thrown down the field a couple of times, and one of them was for a big gain that was called back. In the second half, GA unleashed their passing attack, and Clemson couldn't stop them. The passing attack opened up the run game as well. Cade Klubnik made some great throws in that game, and Clemson's receivers made some great catches as well. The problem was, GA's defense limited those great throws and catches to few at best. That Malachi Starks interception would've been a completed pass with any other safety. GA's defense prevented Clemson's offense from being highly successful. That's all there was to it. Nothing would've changed other than the possibility of GA getting more interceptions because of the inexperience of the 5-star Freshman receivers. Yes, they looked great against an App State defense. But I can guarantee you they wouldn't have against GA's defense. That's why I urged Clemson's fans to trust Coach Dabo. He knows how to coach way more than any fan does. He will play the players who have demonstrated in practice that they are the better players. The way Coach Kirby does. That's why Kirby started his Freshman safety over a more veteran safety.
I understand why people that don’t understand Oregon, thinking that they are struggling right now… But none of these games matter, compared to Ohio State. They are not going to waste their big play bullets, and running the quarterback on these lower level teams in the first five games! Especially since Ohio State will be ready for those plays, if we use them. This is 100%. by design. -Jordan James is still averaging 100 yards per game. -Gabriel is averaging 85% completion. - Oregon has maybe the best special teams return game for Oregon, since the 2010 team that played for the national championship team - and they’re slowly building competitive depth on the OL, as they run a vanilla offense.
Gabriel is a 5'/160 lbs munchkin, so Oregons offensive staff isn't "running him" because he would get destroyed. The O-Line can't run or pass block, so Gabriel is already running for his life, after the ball is snapped, and taking unnecessary punishment.
Oregon is Ohio State the 2 last years. Really bad line play. As an Ohio State fan I’m not convinced the line issues are fixed until we play someone with a physical defensive line.
All we heard from Oregon fans is how they were gonna come in and absolutely destroy everyone in the Big 10. They aren't even the best Pac 10 team to come in this year.
Here's the vibe I'm getting..UGA wallops Clemson. What's up with Clemson? Texas wallops Michigan. It's a down year for Michigan perhaps. Ohio State wallops two cupcakes. Ohio State is that team. They are who we thought they were!! Jeez..
He literally said that at the beginning of the segment. And then followed it up with Notre Dame thought they were playing a nobody and got beat by Northern Illinois. Ohio State has played 2 MAC schools, and did exactly what they should have done against them. Notre Dame and Oregon have not done that.
Now that he's weening off Michigan's nutsack, he's getting back to normal. He was completely on the michigan bandwagon, saying the cheating didn't matter. Now he's singing a different tune since the NOA released, struggled their first game, and got violated by the horns last week.
Ttun is not a good team Joel lol, and the fact they(Texas)jumped THE is laughable. They get that test(Texas) vs Georgia soon so we will see. Then maybe a preview to the SEC championship game
3 out of the 5 Oregon lineman are vets. They got plenty of experience and did well last year all year..A 4th got losts of reps each game last year. One 1, the walk on center is new. According to the O line, there issues stem from new offensive plays that they are not running well with new personel. I dont think Oregon is good enough to win a natty this year..mentally, I dont think they have the mental make up to be champs. If they did, they would not be playing down to competition. I enjoy the games but I already know this is not a real contender for the chip so some bowl is going to be their price or an early playoff defeat. Georgia, Texas and others are already to far ahead of Oregon to get it together in a couple of weeks. If you dont have it together by now, you dont belong in that tier 1 group.
You can't judge a coach until after 3 or 4 year's. I've seen it to many times when head coaches come in and have success with player's already there. And the same when coaches struggle at the beginning until they get there players in the system.
This is a bit off topic, but wanted to throw it out there. Last week, during your broadcast from the UT-UM game, you mentioned on several occasions Quinn Ewers' past history with the Buckeyes. Perhaps I am in the minority (but would be surprised if that were true), but as a lifelong Buckeye fan (I'm 54) I do NOT consider Ewers a part of "Buckeye Nation". As I understand it, the only reason he was in Columbus was because of some law in Texas at the time that prohibited freshman from benefiting from NIL. The instant Ewers put on his Scarlet and Gray for the first time he already knew he was going back to Texas as soon as the season was over. This disqualifies him from consideration as a "former" Buckeye as far as I'm concerned.
@@ChrisMo16 Joe Burrow I have no problem considering a former Buckeye, because he actually wanted to be one. For whatever reasons Meyer passed him over for Haskins, he was only going to "die on the vine" here, forcing him to consider other options if he were ever going to get a chance to show what he could do.
Jesus Christ is our lord god and savior and he is coming back soon and I pray that everyone puts their true and full faith in him and receives his grace because we are saved by his grace which we receive through our faith amen!
Jeanty did not “run all over” the Ducks. You take away that long touchdown run and he’s barely over the 100 yard mark on 24 carries. This is not discounting his game. He’s an outstanding running back. But just looking at the box score stats is misleading most of the time.
Relevant to who? Clemson has 21 acc titles. In this day and age, that would be 21 trips to the playoffs with a bye. Also 3 national titles, 2 within the last decade. Last season was Clemsons worst year in over a decade and it was a 9 win season. Only a few teams in the nation can say that. Seems pretty relevant to me
@@craigcorbett6510 Nationally, of course. Recent success is warranted, yes. An amazing run for a small program that 9 of 10 people outside the acc couldn't halfway locate on a map. Before this run though, not in the national spotlight since the early 80s. Shouldn't bother ya, that's just par for the course. Of course the playoff expansion opens the door, but it shouldn't be expected.
@@Teratoma-T are you saying people outside the ACC aren’t smart? Most people know states from a young age and what would that have to do with Clemson being relevant?
As an Oregon fan. Yes, that first game was meh. But against Boise I was impressed. Especially considering Oregon was 0-3. This was Oregons first win over them. And then in general. I still have faith in them to make the playoffs at least.

Oregon is cooked
Im a osu fan but im waiting to see what happens when they play better teams
Here's the vibe I'm getting..UGA wallops Clemson. What's up with Clemson? Texas wallops Michigan. It's a down year for Michigan perhaps. Ohio State wallops two cupcakes. Ohio State is that team. They are who we thought they were!! Jeez..
Kudos to Kelly tweaking the O after week 1. But slow down dude 😂
He didn’t tweak anything. You don’t show anything against Akron.
Ohio state hasn’t played anyone yet. They look great but Ima wait until they play someone
He literally said that at the beginning of the segment. And then followed it up with Notre Dame thought they were playing a nobody and got beat by Northern Illinois. Ohio State has played 2 MAC schools, and did exactly what they should have done against them. Notre Dame and Oregon have not done that.
Excellent work as usual, Klatt. Thank you, kind sir.
Now that he's weening off Michigan's nutsack, he's getting back to normal. He was completely on the michigan bandwagon, saying the cheating didn't matter. Now he's singing a different tune since the NOA released, struggled their first game, and got violated by the horns last week.
buckeyes licking chops for....marshall...you thought i was gonna say oregon, i know. but its one game at a time...
Stop talking about a Buckeyes national championship. Keep the eyes on the prize: beat TTUN on 11/30.
After that, we can talk winning the CFP.
It's TCTUN
Joel Klatt looks concerningly like dabo when he’s wearing a hat
Go Bucks
What if they violated NCAA Regulations, while under NCAA Probation, during their 1st year hired, without a contract?
That's funny
Hey Joel! Still flummoxed at how Michigan looked so bad this weekend vs last year and the year before? Clown.
Y’all hating on Oregon for winning barely, but you gotta remember Washington got to the NATTY last year by barely beating teams! Just sayin…..

Lifelong Buckeye fan who grew up in Grand Rapids, Mi by the way. I'm 58. How do you feel about Joe Burrow?
@@ChrisMo16 Burrow is from and currently lives in Ohio, but he never started a game for OSU, as long as he was there.
Cade and the WR crew just started clicking. Bottom line
What is that logo, Joel? Dude, hire another designer.
Mi stinks and they are soft. Hail to the cheaters. Enjoy stripped dirty titles and wins.,fired coaches, bowl bans.hail to the cheaters.
Joel. Your Michigan bias is showing heavily every week
Joel should remove his lips off of Michigan's...
Clemson is only relevant once every 30-40 years. They got lucky with a nice stretch, but it's time for them to slide back into irrelevance.
Seems pretty relevant to me
You say this like it’s a law of nature
It's the Law of the Land
I don’t think Oregon wins the big 10 I think we’re gonna be worse then last year w nix
Boise would have won again if they refs bail out Oregon multiple times.
@@roris5882 I don’t think you and I watched the same game. We got every call against us.
Come on man why r we trying to act like Clemson beating a group of 5 team is impressive a team that lost 5 times giving up 35+ four times last year this app st team didn't beat Michigan in week 1 that was 17 years ago they beat east Tennessee st by 28😂
Poor Michigan has a few good seasons and now they are back to being a Mediocre, Middle of the pack B1G school.. If they was as consistently good as Ohio State they would be a good football program.. For some reason they just cant stay consistenly good like Ohio State though.
Year after year Ohio state has the weakest schedule. Play nobody.
Objectively untrue.
They play at least 3 ranked teams this season. That’s pretty average
@@calebleeson5662 Texas in 25 and 26 and Bama in 27 and 28 in OOC play.
cmon, preseason it wasnt the easiest or hardest. roadgames at OR & PSU. MI at home. I do agree it got a lot easier with the way OR and MI have played....
