Fiddle playing in Texas goes way back to the ninteen twentys. Prior to that there was almost no one but indians living in Texas.

@@Billy_Shears17 Yea but he was not playing either German or Spanish music. The style of playing originated in the states to the east, However what is considered old time Texas style today is obviously heavily influenced by the popular music of the twenties.
