what nobody told me so far - but I figured out - is that you can connect TWO instruments at the same time (and play at the same time), one wireless transmitter, one via cable. As I am currently teaching my 9 year old son, this makes perfect sense for us!
I use the Mighty Plug MP-2 which is fantastic on guitar, but the bass amps are a bit lacking. The best overdriven bass sound I've gotten is an AC30 model into a bass cab. The new model may be better.
Would be critical for amp reviews to be mic-ed, not direct out. Would like you to have a couple of standard ways to record off the speaker into a clean interface, maybe a close mic and a room, to get the ideas how a little amp like this drives a 10’x20’ room.
My perfect living room amp is not an amp at all but just using a virtual amp and my stereo/headphones. Cheap, great sounding, the most flexible option available and takes up no more space than the interface itself.

Is it more fun to practice with and has better and more fun effects than the 50bt? I can't see if it would be worth spending the extra cash on. Since you also get the looper and drum machine in the 50bt bass amp.

It looks cool, I went with the micro cube RX because I need something that can run on batteries and that's built for travel. I wonder how these two amps compare volume and tone wise. Could you use this in a group jam or would this only be good for home practice?
Who's circuit did the reverse engineer and make it of cheap components now? It's a dead end supporting businesses that practice this way, it will only hurt our own people. If rather save my money up for the real thing made of good components and designs that are respairable. Through research.
These days what is the real thing though? Very little is repairable if it has PCBs in it which is most amps. Sure you could get an SVT but the head is 80lbs plus it’s not exactly designed for the same thing. My amp head was made in Boston by a guy with an Italian sounding surname and my cab in Italy. I’m Australian. Who should I be supporting again? NuX has been very innovative and brought new ideas and designs to market. Don’t think they rip anything off. At the end of the day we are all just people living in the same planet and we are both almost certainly typing this on a phone or computer that was made in China.
