My favourite Hank Williams song. I'm a strummer who was stuck in C, F and G and you have really brought this to life for me. I'm suddenly really impressed with myself when I play it. I checked out many of the other videos for this song and frankly, yours is the only one that nails it for me. The 5 dislikes have made me realise I do have good taste and they need to get their ears tested! Thanks for sharing your knowledge - sorry it took me so long to get round to finding it!

I think what people dislike is that he's calling it the "right" version when it's completely different from the way the guy who wrote it actually played it. "My" version or "a more modern" version certainly wouldn't have raised so many eyebrows.

Is this the way Hank plays it? I always think of classic country as being not particularly musically sophisticated but this arrangement is really cool and harmonically complex.

Hey Magnum, just what does that Gminor chord look like after the C7? Thanks
It's pretty simple. It's actually just before the C7. You just bar the bottom three strings on the third fret and depress the D string on the 5th fret. Here's a visual explanation in case that's unintelligible. www.play-acoustic-guitar.com/gmin-guitar-chord.html

been studying the song for a while now and you really opened up a new way for me to play it, as well as how you use your voice. I hope you would give some consideration to presenting more of the nuances that come from hammering and sliding on some of the chords. i personally would just eat it up. Thanks for getting back
