Big Bang also revolutionized much of the Kpop industry, most kpop idols didnt make or produce their own music prior to Big Bang but GD changed that. The light sticks thag every kpop group has individually for their fans, GD designed the very first one for Big Bang and made it a trend. Prior to Big Bang most male kpop groups didnt have such flashy style clothing or dyed hair, Big Bang changed that. Prior to them if a kpop artist wanted to branch out and do their solo music the group they were in would have to disband. Big Bang changed that, allowing for their members to pursue solo tracks while still remaining a group. They are the Kings of Kpop for a reason, most idol groups now would attend Big Bang concerts to learn about stage prescence and performing to captivate an audience. This is why they are soo big, they are the idols of the Idols today, they were REVOLUTIONARY.
Well this song/mv alone another example of how their revolution the K-pop from music, concept, mv production and fashion.. When this song dropped back then, they were criticised coz it sounds different just like when they dropped Bang³..
Btw in terms of mannerisms GD alone influences 90% in K-pop both mainstream & underground.. Taeyang too how he carries and presents himself on stage as a singer/performer..

Technically BigBang didnt disband officially but since 2 members arent members anymore I doubt we will get a real comeback anytime soon BUT Taeyang had a solo comeback this year so thats also worth checking out.
