Chanhyuk (the brother) turned 17 yrs old and Suhyun (sister) 14yrs in 2013. He writes and produces their songs. The evolution in this compilation is partly due to them growing up both professionally and chronologically but also because Chanhyuk always has explored new styles and ideas and has an incredible creative drive.
Suhyun is able to bring the music her brother writes to life with her amazing voice. They are both well known for being musicians who are just themselves personality wise.
Her brother is mostly like producer/musician she’s like main vocalist

Yes usually when they perform live Chanhyuk (the brother) is almost always on guitar. They are both great musicians! They both write thier songs which are often very cheeky and clever, but Chanhyuk is the main composer
AKMU has been one of my upcoming favorite duos in music. They are so genius with their songwriting and composing, Lee Chanhyuk (the brother if you haven’t figured that out) is like the producer/composer for most of their songs. Lee Suhyun (the cutie🩷) she is the best vocalist imo!! She is so good at what she does and she really does bring out the emotion and personality of their songs out with her beautiful voice
Her brother too! I love his vocals they really paid well with Suhyun. It’s like they were paired together in this life to showcase what they can do🩵
This group is actually brother and sister. My older brother mainly writes his own songs and my younger sister is in charge of vocals.
For reference, the song "DINOSAUR" has too high a high note, so at the time of recording, I made a promise to my brother that I would never sing it live. However, there is a scene where "Su-Hyun", who is angry at having to sing live here, hits her older brother "Chan-hyuk".
The slow song she did towards the beginning where it was just her and you wanted it to keep going... it is called " Time and Fallen leaves". She said this was the 1st time it had been sung live. It's one of my favorites, he sings on the track as well you just don't get to hear it in the segment the did of it.
Suhyun does not say it's the first time it was sung live. Rather, she says she doesn't OFTEN do it live. Suhyun was a regular on Begin Again, a Korean busking show filmed abroad. And this is the song at 13:03 in your video. This time Suhyun & co (they called themselves the Family Band) busked in Naples (still S3 in 2019). Its English title is "Last Goodbye." Bc Suhyun participated, the gang sang several AKMU songs (along w many others, inc English songs and Korean classics), but these two are my faves. They hit different live. DINOSAUR is my favourite although it has a sad story. The siblings family had money problems when they were young. The dinosaurs represent the debt collectors coming to the door.
I am really big fan of akmu specially Chanhyuk (the brother) like every songs that he produced & write its just a masterpiece (many people called him genius) along with his sister (suhyun) that have amazing vocals they are really the best duo.
Btw funfact u can just give them any random book or letter to them & they will make it a song in a second even korean/their fan are suprised when do it lol
I"m such a fan of AKMU. A group I listen to their full albums on the regular. They also have really great, often unique music videos

You guys gotta check out AKMU for sure...the brother writes and produces all of their songs, they are known as the misical genius siblings of south korea , both of them are crazy talented especially the brother (lee chan-hyuk), the sister lee suhyun is one of the best singers out there...
Please if you are going to react to AKMU, also add MELTED to your list. I was surprised when they didn't sing it and it's a really beautiful song not to mention the MV which is also very sad and beautiful at the same time.

You do pronounce the K in AKMU though, they just kinda mumbled their way through it. It's short for Akdong Musician.
Please search for exo D.O. and AKMU Lee Suhyun singing Rewrite the Stars. It only lasts about a minute but it is Sooo Goooood.
God I really hope you do more of them! I absolutely love them. Highly recommend “Dinosaur”, “Re-bye”, “Melted” and “Nakka (ft. IU)” for some of their best with MV’s

edit: check out akmu's re-bye music video too. they were so young then but i loved that song and it was like they were playing around. if you ever want to try reacting to melted i suggest you watch a version from when they were young and a more recent performance (unplugged i think) so you can see how much they've grown as people and as musicians

You should react to Red Velvet’s Killing Voice after! They are considered the “Concept queens” of Kpop. They have two sides, the Red side and the Velvet side. One is more Pop sounding and the other is more RnB.
AKMU/AKDONG MUSICIAN is a duo which is composed of 2 sibling : Lee Suhyun (Sister) and Lee Chanhyuk (Brother). They debuted in 2014 with "PLAY" Album.
And you actually watched and listened to akmu singing while being playful and half serious. They sounds great here and the video is still legendary though but if you listened to the original ones, you'll see much more from them especially lee suhyun, one of the best vocalist in Korea. And yes you're right! She slayed every genre, she stole every songs and she can sing everything. They're humble, down-to-earth, they're funny and cute. Great musician indeed. Proud of them 🙌
