So many to choose from in Witcher 3 but the Bloody Baron side quest is my favorite for sure. Super emotional, amazing voice acting and just devastating through out.
I was wondering where Shoot This Guy In The Face would rank- glad to see it got ranked just where it should be, although I would have ranked The Pale Elf at at least no lower than #4.
1. Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax (Saints Row the Third) 2. In from the Cold (Batman: Arkham Knight) 3. The Dragon side quests (God of War 2018) 4. I Know You (Red Dead Redemption)
Think my favourite sidequest in a game was probably in Dragon Quest XI, where you have to find all the tockles. Visiting the past worlds in 2d was just really fun.
It’s too recent, of course, to know if it’s “GOAT-worthy” (plus the greatness of its side quests is mostly based upon how all of them have great cutscenes and are more fleshed out than expected, with character development that feels significant, rather than one single side quest standing out) but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s side quests (the narrative ones, not the X/10 collectibles ones) are some of the best I’ve experienced in a while!
Is rescuing Sif considered a side quest? If so, that. Also the music box from bloodborne. I liked Anri’s side quest in Ds3 too. -cough- big fromsoft guy here
Sad no side quests from Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. Some of them could get pretty wild, especially those concerning your rather unhinged entourage of companions.

Ben Potter still dropping a NEEERDS! in 2024 lol what a throwback
Now do the 10 worst side quests.
Fun fact, in yakuza 6 you can help the guru from 0 who's cult now target someone he knows
And in Infinite Wealth you can find the guy again, apparently back on his old tricks (But it's not).

All of these were great, my favourite side quest of all time will always be No Stone Unturned from Skyrim tho
8 mins 45s - is that Ashton? 😂
You get a nice shiny Silver trophy for completing the Epsilom Program side quest line, too 😊

The Perfect Crime from Arkham Knight.
Solaire of ASTORA. Not "Astoria", whatever that would be. HEATHENS!
I think you’ll find the best side quest in Baldurs Gate 3 is recruiting scratch and the owlbeqr cub.
You have no idea how badly I want a owlbear cub
Vincent or Yuffie from FFVII, for sure.
Hoping pizza delivery in yakuza 0 is in here lol
Love it or hate it, Starfield's Crimson Fleet side quest is excellent.
