- Welcome back to the fifth episode of Race to Elite on F1 23 Ranked! Well...last time out could have gone better, 5 points is what we lacked to move up to gold tier, I am not pleased to say the least. But anyway, we still ranked up one tier and now we start the grind all over again, where can we get to today?

I really really dislike skins like this in games. Especially games that I like to play. Like someone in Call of Duty with the Snoop Dogg skin. And I know if there's any outrageous skins in a video game there's always going to be people who buy and use them even though they don't fit

@@motornaut bro honestly seems like some bs the developers would add to the game. You know, one of the really ugly skins that you get for playing the game. Any of the Skins that actually look good on your car actually cost money or you have to get the tier 100 in the battle pass. I stopped playing multiplayer games online back in 2020 the games are getting way too greedy and they don't care about prioritizing fun new experiences they just want you to take your credit card out. then that leads to a whole bunch of dumbass looking skins getting added to games which I really dislike but I cant do anything about it other than stop playing them. Nothing is quite as aggravating as a racing game that has a battle royale battle pass integrated. The whole gaming industry just copies what the other companies are doing in order to get idiots to spend money on their game. So glad people are getting sick of it. Everybody is so toxic nowadays as well so what's the point of playing a multiplayer game with randoms when everybody is a douchebag that tries way too hard. The multiplayer experience isn't even close to what it used to be.

Just in case you didn't know. When you go into a lobby, click on settings. You can view which track you drive so you can keep leaving if it's the same one
I love getting rear ended when coming into the pits by somebody using pit assist who’s been cutting every single corner gaining 4 seconds a lap on me only to get 14 points for finishing p2 because 17 players crashed out and left in the first sector

Ranked is fun if you don’t take it to seriously lol I just find it fun trying to avoid everyone trying to take you out sometimes 😂 it reminds me of burnout and how I would still focus on my race while the AI try and take you out at every corner.

How can they have pit assist just stop on a dime.. they have the Ai control leaving the pits, why not make it control the last 100m on entry too, making it slightly slower than a good manual entry
dumb question, why is my ranked car so slow? it top speeds at 310 kph and wont go higher unless i use battery, im slower on the straight very obviously even with a better corner

Hoping to get some much needed help here! Really enjoying the new game. Huge improvement over 22. But, I can't seem to get a decent connection to multiplayer servers. I'm on PC and trying to use crossplay because if I don't, I can't get a lobby going. Every single time I try multiplayer, it's practically unplayable with all the cars jumping around the screen. But I know multiplayer is possible on this game because I see streamers on PC doing it just fine.
I've tried turning off firewall but that doesn't seem to help. I have good fiber optic internet and have no trouble at all on iRacing or other sims.
Any ideas for me? I'm itching to get into the online stuff!

Every ranked race there is cheaters. Between grip hacks and track limits. They really dropped the ball this year. I like the way the places work but years before ranked was much better.
how dose he tell the lap times people are doing on another screen
I think there is a 3rd party app you can buy that shows your own real time data and possible others in the race too, not sure of the name of said app but maybe someone reading this can help

Likely because you have a C or D class licence. Drive clean and youll get a B licence where collisions are enabled and you can control the csr in the pits as usual

My least favourite thing about ranked is that you can’t do 5 lap races like why can you only do long races
Ranked is the same old BS guys get mad they dont got pace and start crashing into you. Then they blame you. Also racing the same track over and over sucks.
Why do you never accept blame for your mistakes? I know it's not always intentional, but you never seem to accept that things were/may have been your fault
