Ranked Has *ONE* More Chance...Or This Series Ends Today

This mode has not been in my good books as of recent, be it due to bugs, poor race craft from other drivers, or even just being incredibly dull. I decided to give Ranked one more chance to draw me back in, otherwise, I will not be playing it anymore until some serious changes have been implemented...

It's utterly bizarre that lapped cars weren't ghosted to begin with. It's such a common tactic for griefers that leaving them solid is practically encouraging bad behavior.

Alex, I was wondering your thoughts a couple weeks in on the new modes they’ve introduced. Personally I’ve given up completely on F1 world, just like F1 Life last year, it was marketed as this awesome new feature only to release like a wet fart with laughably bad AI and little to no real content. Which means all we have this year again is league racing, online lobbies, and TT. I just want them to deliver fully on a new concept that will actually uphold player retention rather than slowly dwindle it back to F1 22 numbers

I think the biggest issue is that they completely under estimated how quickly people progressed in the mode.
It is very easy.....to make the mode very hard. If you just stay far enough behind in the tech level then the ai being at 31 is irrelevant. You only need to be around 100 less than the recommended.
The series etc have to start at the lower end otherwise it cuts out a huge chunk of the playerbase.
There are plenty of new things that werent there previously. Let's not forget it's still only a month after release.....so a lot more will come.

"Ranked" is a farce, I lost 150 points just today by the break testing and side swipes (not even lapped cars either) giving me instant DNF's. Its just no fun racing morons.

Ranked is seriously broken, they need to fix this asap! 4 out of 4 races were in Singapore, 3 of them wet sessions. I've never been so bored in my life. Who came up with that idea?

so Alex, do you think you should be de-ranked in your license level for that slam to GHOSTs car? I know lobbies are dangerous, but you are also a bit hypocritic as you arent safe around weaker players yourself :D

@@AlexGillonGameplay You took out 3 cars :> Im game dev programmer and unfortunately from practice I can say detecting specific cases in such dynamic environment is tricky. For example if 2 cars hit, its very hard to determine whose fault it was, and having all the nesessary data maybe tricky to decide correctly :( It gets complicated quickly :D
