The trip was hanging on a knife edge, but if we could make it to Austria, the final two days would be all about cycling through the countryside and completing our Challenges. The surreal, heart warming string of events that followed and the people that came with them will, I'll never forget.

Sharing these videos with you all has been one of the highlights of my life. Me and Greg have loved nothing more than a good adventure since we were nippers and being able to present our greatest journey yet to so many like minded people is the greatest gift we could ever ask for. Here's to another storming year of adventure on the GeoWizard channel.

@@Skeptic2006 They're baskets, the grooves are part of the weave. Raising the bread in baskets instead of solid bowls allows more airflow while still holding plenty of moisture, which gives the bread a better raise and thus better texture.

The "weed" was just regular hemp, it's used to make ropes for sailboats, bags for hipsters, all that shit. It's technically the same plant, but there's a difference between male and female plants, because only one produces thc/cbd/etc. inside the plant, so only one is smokable. the other produces a material i could most closely compare to linen.

The female plant produces more fibers than the male plant. Cannabis is the worldest most usefull unused plant today! It's a great resource for thousands of products!

I'm dead serious when I say that this has probably been the best series/journey I've ever seen on TH-cam. It's made me so happy to see people from all around Europe so willing to help two complete strangers! It's really made me love life and believe in people. The locals you've met have been so kind. You and Greg's commentary is hilarious and has me laughing in tears. I have so much love for this series and it makes me want to go on an adventure too. I love this!
If you liked this, there's a similar trip that was done by a portuguese youtuber, although the full video isn't captioned yet, it's still a lovely video, and you might pick up some portuguese words :) The name of the movie is "Mais ou menos à boleia", which translates to "More or less hitchhiking", and his name is Miguel Luz. Just hit me that I just watched every single episode in a row, almost 4 hours went by and I regret nothing this was probably the best series I've ever seen of anything, better than any high budget netflix stuff and a rollercoaster of emotions. Absolutely fantastic, just makes me want to get out there and live life. Love you Tom and Greg, can't wait for the next scotland episode next sunday.

As a person from Redditch myself I nearly spat my drink out when a random person in Austria had even heard of It let alone lived here!
I've always wanted to do a trip through Europe, but it felt so inaccessible, as an American who can only speak English and just enough German to make the most basic conversation. This series has shown me that it's not really a problem, you can go pretty much anywhere if you've got a positive attitude, the people are so wonderful, especially in the smaller villages. Fantastic stuff, Tom!
i've been to lots of european countries with my struggling english haha (my Dutch is even less of a use). With so many languages next to each other, we're used to it to struggling to understand each other. But everyone just tries their best and it will work.
At least in German speaking countries, but also in the Netherlands, Scandinavia, central europe like Czech Republic you should be perfectly fine with English is you are not arrogant about it.

Absolutely incredible series, what a blast. And I think this was my favorite episode of them all, biking from one village to the next and meeting the locals of them all is fantastic. And cleaning windows for the spot on the tram was a great idea. Please keep making these series.
Yes! I think this one was the best because they had more time to actually do things and enjoy their surroundings instead of trying to rush to meet time deadlines. The more open they can be with the timing of things the better I think these videos will be. Though don't get me wrong, they are already fantastic!

I was honestly sad when this series came to an end. You guys really captured the spirit of travel and adventure. Something magic happens when you let go and let the universe take you along for a ride. "Chance" suddenly becomes the norm, and you really see that happen in these videos. You guys captured that free spirit on camera and gave me good case of nostalgia and wanderlust. I look forward to seeing more adventures. If you're ever state side, give me a holla!

I don't think I can put in to words how much I liked this series, just the sheer wholesomeness of it. I mean all you have to do is look at the credits, and you'll see all of these completely random people only sharing one thing in common, which was helping out these to random guys. The vibes are immaculate the whole way through, the weather, people and scenery is amazing, it provides encouragement that the world is a good place, and we will, one day, be able to go back to normal. I keep coming back to this as an escape from normal life, there's nothing else like it online, love you man, what an amazing journey.

i grew up in an area in the netherlands with a lot of hemp grown for fibers.
that stuff looked the same, you could smoke it but it would not get you high, it did make nice tea though.

Tom, just wanted to thank you again for the really excellent subtitles, it makes a HUGE difference to people like me who have trouble with processing audio (or people who are deaf/HOH). I can officially say that your subtitles are better than most of the major tv networks/streaming services in the United States.
I finished watching the American series a few days ago, and came back to watch this. Although America was great, there is something so carefree about the European way of living. Everyone was so easy going and being able to hitchhike adds so much spontaneity! Thinking about planning my own trip like this very soon.
I know I'm over a year late, but this is absolutely different class. Bravo.

This is incredible and so much wholesome. Whenever I feel low about this planet and about Humanity, somehow humanity shows a glimpse of it in a very subtle way. From every person who helped you guys and at least tried to help you, they are reason why this earth is still livable and why we humans are so close to each other but yet we don't understand about it.
This series will remain with me forever, not only for the love and affection of the humans, also the brave and inspiring journey of yours and Elegant yet humorous writing with this masterpiece.

I was suggested this by someone in the comment section of the scotland video and to be honest i thought that this was just going to be a b tek holiday vlog. Boy was i wrong. This series was totally boss! I've enjoyed your straight-line trips and thought this European gig would be something I'd watch, but with less fervour. Totally wrong; I loved it. My own solo walks across Wales and England have also shown me acts of humanity from strangers to shine in the kindest and most generous ways. I have told people since my walks, that you can walk out of your own front door in any of 360° direction, walk to the coast and come across such kindness along the way. Your European escapade confirmed this to be universal👍🙏

I have been lucky enough to experience these types of interactions I can't tell you how well you translated your journey into these edits. This whole series has made me desperately want to visit Europe. I had always thought it was all like Amsterdam and London, crowded and full of rude blokes and overpriced fast food, but these videos have shown how much amazing stuff you can find off the beaten path.

This only just appeared in my TH-cam recommendations despite being subscribed for a few months now, but it was an absolute joy to watch. In particular during this final episode I realised I’d been smiling for most of it.
