    This is one of the best mint jelly recipes I have ever seen beautiful absolutely beautiful. And I like the fact you kept it natural without putting in the green food coloring..

    Thanks! Loved the history of your mint plants. I'll be making with store bought mint today, but will hopefully be using my own home grown mint eventually. QUESTION: I planned on using 2 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Why did you say not to? Thanks!

      Thank you so much!! To answer your question, if you use bottled lemon juice you are ensuring whatever you preserve has the correct acidity level. Fresh lemons depending on variety can vary on their pH levels. I hope that helps and that you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!!
