- The sketches and computer animations for a rolling roof at Arrowhead Stadium look like something from "The Jetsons." But with frigid conditions predicted for the Chiefs AFC Championship Game with the New England Patriots, some fans are giving the failed plan from 2006 a second look.
Thank God this didn't happen

i really don’t care if we have a roof or host a super bowl or not. we’re on our way to winning at least 5 super bowls, so who cares ☺️

Build the roof!
If the chiefs could win a superbowl in the next couple of years, KC voters would approve it. Plus new royals owners is thinking of building a new stadium downtown. If the rolling roof is not done at some point soon the stadiums will be split, that would suck.

Kansas City would be good to play for a Super Bowl BUUUUUUUT it’s not just the roof but the whole downtown need more lights, sky scrapers, and digital screens on the building and more parking and also with the plaza
The Patriots use horrific winter weather to their advantage. You guys should too. It might not work on them or the Steelers but there are plenty of teams that will fold like a cheap tent and may be your ticket to the Superbowl!

@@Iconhulk, so your Chief's finally win the Superbowl (again) and you still have to cling to stuff like that to protect your self worth? Life must be very difficult for you. But it sounds like that's the way you want it.

With the high octane offensive team that we've become in the mahomes era, a roof over Arrowhead would provide a huge advantage, and probably make Arrowhead even louder. I think the rolling roof is silly, the latest the royals ever play is late October, which hardly ever happens anyway. I'd rather see the royals stadium move downtown in the near future.
It's actually the other way around. Mahomes' superior arm talent compared to other QBs is a big advantage in bad weather. See the snowy Colts playoff game (Andrew Luck) and the recent snow game against the Broncos (Drew Lock). Mahomes' talent in those conditions was a huge advantage. He played very well compared to the opponents.
If the roof is built it kills arrowhead it’s on the verge of being an icon like lambeau or solder field or wrigley and the roof kills arrowhead
