Relationships come and go, some shorter, some longer, some for all your life. Each is unique, but they all help you grow and become a better person and give you unique memories so cherish them fully. I am grateful to have had a glimpse into this journey you two went on and to see such a beautiful country. I hope your journeys will be good in the future for both of you, in both your adventure and relationship lives. Best of luck and god bless.
That makes me very happy to hear Drew! A lot of extra time and effort goes into producing these videos in 4k, so it's so great to know they're actually being enjoyed in their full resolution!
I don’t comment a lot, but its sad to know that this is your last adventure with Aishola. You two make a great pair and I hope that your paths will cross again. The best to both of you.
The mistake most make is defining a relationship in the terms of time when in fact time is irrelevant. You can have a perfect relationship sitting in a bar talking to a stranger. It might last 2 hours. You might have a perfect relationship with your spouse that lasts 70 years. Once you stop defining relationships by time you will be far more open to what others have to offer. Loved this series, looking forward to the next.
And again Ed produced a fantastically filmed and greatly edited roadmovie, laced it with just the right soundscape and served it hot with some unpolished soulvision
You did did a great job on this series -- you exposed us to a country most of us will never get to experience. The sites and Georgian people made this series very special. It's sad you are going separate ways but I am certain you both will safely land find continued success. Thanks so much!
Honestly this was the right move.these kinds of adventures test the limits of a relationship.for better or worse some things are what they are.love you guys!
A beautiful series in every way. Through these vignettes the spirit of lesser-known, lesser-appreciated countries shines through, propelled by a thoughtful and cohesive editing style. All the best for your future adventures, on two wheels or one, with another or solo.
why am i feeling so sad right now ? Been following you two for a while, and this last video hit different, as we all know it's the last with both of you as a couple... Wish you both the best for the next time to come... Thanks for sharing all of that.
I am so sorry that you two wonderful people have parted ways. Only you two know what is best for yourselves. Know that I have enjoyed you both together and Ed when alone. You are models on how life can be lived well and you have enriched my life just through seeing yours. All the best to you both and happy trails, without flat tires/tyres. ;o)
I had the same problem with my loaded recumbent, flat after flat... I finally fixed the problem by cutting gapper/duct to the width of the rim tape. I applied 3-4 layers of tape over the rim tape, increasing the width on each layer. By the last layer, I had a more rounded surface for the tube to seat against. A new tube and the problem went away. Very sorry to hear that you guys broke up, there was some chemistry there. Good luck in the future, Bob
Inspirational content ed, been watching for a long while and still get the call to action from the masterpieces you produce. You are a rare person, I hope life treats you fantasticly.
My bike has had similar puncture issues as yours but in both wheels eventually found the issue the rim tape was moving exposing the inner tube to the spoke holes I managed to fix it using wider rim gorilla tape the difference is my bike was doing it from new a design flaw where as your tandem has covered many miles without issues . Great content .
Wonderful series, you should both be proud. I'll miss Aishola's smiley face. Onwards and upwards Ed. Look forward to your next adventure. Meanwhile I'm off to watch your unicycle adventure.
Ed thank you for sharing this incredible journey with us!! The adversity you both pushed through was incredible. Wish you both the best and look forward to future adventures!
Just found your channel. Frustrating that you don't have more views (I'm glad I can add to that!) because these are excellent! Aishola was a wonderful addition and travel partner, it's great when creators find someone who is additive to the content produced, so I will miss her and wish her well on her next adventures. Look forward to more.
Ed in China when with Super Cycle Man I think was the peak in Ed's cycling videos. Every video since then has improved in that they are better edited and very professional looking, but those early videos had such a sense of joy and adventure.
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. It must be hard to find the right way for you both to say what you want, without feeling like viewers expect more explanation - we don't, you have your own lives. Thank you for the insight into a country many of us have very little knowledge of, and I wish you both every happiness on your future journeys.
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS EDD! I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS (ACTUALLY, I'M HOLDING SHIFT!!) TO SHOW THE DEPTH OF MY APPRECIATION!! COOL! IF YOU EVER END UP IN SPAIN YOU'VE GOT A ROOM AT MINE OUTSIDE OF BARBASTRO!
You are two beautiful people. Just a pure joy to follow you around. Wish you all the best! Adventure will for sure keep finding you, in which ever way you stear. Thanks for the ride!
Cool Video ED I hope you both find your ideal soulmates this Video was very well put together the tyre problem could have been sorted with green gunk as a puncture cure just needs spinning then reinflating! I've been using it for years lasts forever in the inner tubes just squeeze it in via the valve!👍
Aww, always sad when a relationship comes to an end but I hope you two keep in touch reminiscing over this adventure. Can not wait to see what this door has opened, will we see another series of Ed being Ed in a country far away from England? I and i'm sure many other hope so. PS Ed, your editing is great, really enjoyable to watch. Best of luck to both of you on your separate paths.
I am sad to see you separate, but at the end you seemed to still have a lot of love for each other. I guess one of you would have to compromise a lot to stay in the other's life as you came from such very different places. I look forward to following each of you in the future.
your cinematic skills and plus how you narrate every moment makes me tears its remind me what i really wanna do in life but the thing is I cant because of financially status. Hey Ed. thankyou for all your video. 🥰 since the day i started watching you back in 2020. Again greetings from Philippines 💕
I ran schwalbe marathon's on a bikepacking trip across Spain and had exactly the same experience. I think that they had too many kms in them and lost any puncture resistance!
watched thsi whole series throughout the week absolutely loved it and wish I could do something like this but ill just continue to live through u ed thank u for everything
Fantastic series, Ed. Your camerawork, editing and storytelling has come a long way and is a real inspiration. Despite the obvious sadness, it's great that you guys ended things on good terms and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for both of you.
I was worried getting closer to the end of the video, knowing what i might see. I'm glad that you are on good terms, and wanna congratulate you on being more adult about this than... well, most adults. Overall, yet another great series, which is, again, making me wanna watch the first one :) Happily awaiting your next adventure :)
Ed, This 45 days trip should be just the appetizer for another 2-3 cycling trips in Georgia. What you have seen is yet small part the country has to offer for cyclists. You should visit Svaneti region, Kakheti region, Adjaria mountain, and Tusheti mountain. I have been in Georgia 7-8 times. I stopped counting.. For me the best country for cycling among more than 30 I have ride.
Thank you both for sharing your adventures. The repeated punctures are most likely caused by braking-induced overheating on long descents. It seems counter-intuitive but it is better to use an alternating off/on application of the brakes rather than prolonged braking to keep a constant 'safe' speed. Braking a loaded tandem requires a lot of power, which is mostly dissipated by heating of the rims. Overheating the rims causes the inner tube seam to melt - that is why it happens mostly next to the rim. So you patch the hole but the seam then fails elsewhere, where the seam has already been degraded. Search for "thorn cycles tandem braking" for more info. Best wishes to you both.
@@NEgales72 It has V-brakes supplemented by a disc 'drag-brake'. The disc you can see at the back is the drag-brake, operated by a thumbshifter on the bars (visible @20:38 in this film). Most tandems have a similar set-up. Disc brakes on tandems can be good but come with their own issues - as the brake is at the end of the fork, it needs to be a much stiffer construction, which gives a harsher ride and the disc requires the wheel to be dished, which is weaker than a non-dished wheel.
Such a great video series coming to an end... and also a couple that was always a joy to see interact. Even in the last scenes, you still look like being in love - hope you both are happy now! Curious to see what might be coming next... (I mean... travel videos 😉). Tricycle tour? 🤣
Hi Ed! 👋 Just have to say how much I enjoyed this experience of yours and have to thank you for sharing it with all of us. Most of us have probably had our own adventures in life and are possibly more locked in now and can't explore the world as we once had. Its nice to see you and your adventures to be able to live vicariously.
