Pile #3 : Because I've been so focused on my spirituality these past few years, I've kind of neglected my body and considered my desires to be wrong or unacceptable. I thought it was not "spiritual" to focus on my body and how I looked. That it was shallow of me to look for attention and dedicate time in order to have the body I desire. I’m looking into a holistic approach and interested in experimenting with homemade products where it works too. The gym, calorie counting, worrying about weight & diet just doesn’t align with me anymore - but seeing it as developing a set of practices that can be tailored to my ascending self that feel true to me (and can be adjusted & tinkered with as I continue to seek expansion rather than a certain result I have to aim towards & then maintain) could maybe help you too? For now, I’m starting with small goals. One example is “try to take more walks outside and be open to the nature around you and just peaceful rather than overthinking or pontificating the entire walk” - almost like meditation while walking & it helps me notice my thoughts and practice detaching from them when I want, to enjoy the present moment with my body & surrounding more. I’ve noticed creative ideas occurring on these walks more and then I’ll make note of them in my phone or a little journal I carry. Best of luck to you!!
Pile 3 is so accurate for me. The past 3 months I have been super sedentary becaue I broke my ankle really badly. I had to stay off of it completely for a month and a half and slowly moving my way to full weight bearing the rest of the time. I am finally at a place where I can walk without crutches (still need them sometimes when I over do it). But my body has changed. The muscles in my leg have atrophied from my glutes to my foot. So I am really focused on my body and what it can do. I also just bought some supplements for my skin health so I can glow more from within. For now, I’m starting with small goals. One example is “try to take more walks outside and be open to the nature around you and just peaceful rather than overthinking or pontificating the entire walk” - almost like meditation while walking & it helps me notice my thoughts and practice detaching from them when I want, to enjoy the present moment with my body & surrounding more. I’ve noticed creative ideas occurring on these walks more and then I’ll make note of them in my phone or a little journal I carry. Best of luck to you!!

Pile 3 is so accurate for me. The past 3 months I have been super sedentary becaue I broke my ankle really badly. I had to stay off of it completely for a month and a half and slowly moving my way to full weight bearing the rest of the time. I am finally at a place where I can walk without crutches (still need them sometimes when I over do it). But my body has changed. The muscles in my leg have atrophied from my glutes to my foot.
