Most of the time I hear about shitty parents reaching out to the neglected kid they want money I think OP should do whatever feels best for her even if the therapist disagrees (she should still definitely hear the therapist out on what they think though) but if OP does decide to go she needs to be careful and be aware of potential ulterior motives and alternatively I do think it’s very possible they are only contacting OP because of empty nest syndrome and will go back to the status quo after their precious “best” daughter comes back

Op I truly relieved if you have better parents, you and your sister would have a very close relationship that no one can break. Just like me and my twin sister. From your story I can see that we are extremely similar to one another. (Even our heights are the same lmao.) I know it’s like being different from your twin, especially when they’re an extrovert. Everyone expects you to be like them because you twins, but that is never the case. You are your own person and you are worth just as much as your sister is. Never forget that. P.S. Just because your parents said, your sister was prettier than you does not mean you aren’t beautiful.
