TBM 900 KIOW - KPWK. Start Up Through Shut Down

Sometimes you have to live vicariously through others. That's the case with my love for the TBM 900. Join me as I sit right seat on a quick trip from KIOW to KPWK in this beautiful airplane.
My goal was to show all phases of flight while keeping the video to less than 8 minutes. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Great Video! As a fellow SR22 pilot and previous owner, it was great to hear your perspective (pun intended!) on the TBM. I have been "flying" the TBM on X-plane for fun in anticipation of my purchase of one soon. (Soon, meaning, as soon as I win the lottery!) 🤪

What's the approach speed and "over the numbers" speed? Thanks for the video!

The book calls for a final approach speed between 77 and 83, depending on GW and winds. On the windy day we flew, he approached at 90 - 95 and used 85 over the threshold. Very similar to what I fly the SR22 at.

It's a pretty tight knit community. Find a Cirrus pilot, and then probably know the CFI's. Or call Cirrus themselves.

If you turn the phone sideways it records in Landscape mode.

I usually do, but obviously not in this case. I thought I had footage off the GoPro, but I didn't, so it's all I had. Will try not to make that mistake again.

I was kidding because I know you don't usually do portrait mode .... but I appreciate the vid! Did not have an appreciation for the TBM, but this made me realize how cool they are. Thanks for putting it together!
