    Great review. I own a Coboc Seven Vesterbro. The one with lights and racks. I am pretty satisfied with it. What was also important to me was that you can easily drive it without the motor.

    I love the Disiknio but I also like this Coboc. I d prefer the the Disinknio to have the Coboc’s battery level indicator. It looks very cool and super understated. I would sacrifice the level of functionality in order to have those indicator lights.

    Hmm when did they change the sound of ambulance sirens in London? I always thought they had the Hi Lo sound..now they sound like regular ambulances here in the US. :(

    Great information! Charger plug is mostly used in GB. Germany and most EU country use European standard plug, It’s smaller.

    A hipster and his money are soon parted. Admittedly, it is very attractive, but it it wildly overpriced for what it offers, made more ridiculous by seeing the frayed handlebar finishing tape flapping around in the wind.

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, that was bothering Ben, not sure why the grip tape was fraying like that near the center of the bar, perhaps this demo model had seen a lot of use or been re-taped recently? Good eye though ;)

      It is a well demo-ed demo model! Certainly wouldn't come out of the box like this..

    The bike being light is not the bigger picture....overall weight of bike + rider is what counts....this just cant compare to a 1000w + motor but respect for trying something different

  • @jamesbighands3647

    Hi C it a great looking bike.....But as a very experienced rider those pedals (echo softening) pedals pedals pedals..........those pedals when taking an aggressive 90 degree turn will catch on asphalt (road surface). The result if that happens is a high side flip over the bike. I have had many colourful experiences(crashes) those pedals are not going to be forgiving. So advice to anyone who buys this bike change the pedals.

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting observation James, I have experienced pedal strikes before when turning hard, and it makes sense that many wider pedals do have angled corners vs. square (presumably to reduce the potential of a drag or strike). Note that the crank arms on the demo model I reviewed were slightly shorter 165 mm and the larger 700c wheels should lift the bottom bracket more than a 26" so hopefully there's some design features that balance out the larger rectangle (and they weren't super wide, just long)

    • @jamesbighands3647
      @jamesbighands3647 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi C in response from my experience the open ended pedals are a potential for an injury only for the fact they are open ended. By the way i appreciate your reviews.

    5400 USD for a bike limited to 15 mph in assistance mode. The Brits are nuts. Not sure of the U.S specs but the Brits can only ride it to 15 MPH with assistance.Crazy.

    • @adrianking8752
      @adrianking8752 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 15mph limit is stupid and most Brits would not spend the sort of money being mentioned here on an e-bike. Purchasing speed pedelecs at 28-30mph is easy as they abound across Europe, that's what I did and ordered from Germany resulting in me getting a quality, reasonably pacey ebike that was promptly delivered without import tax! The new generation of lightweight, stealthy e-bikes are now tempting me but I'm certain I'll be able to obtain an affordable variant with some proper pace once again with a bit of creative shopping!

      The Brits aren't nuts, it's the ignorant politicians taking advice from idiots.

    Im sorry, i cant see four grand there, i have a bike more than half that price with similar form factor, i cannot, for the life of me, see the value here.
