I've been an excellent swimmer all of my life, but I'm old now and not as agile as I used to be. I paid over $100 dollars for a self inflating life preserver for two reasons. #1 is to keep me from drowning if I get knocked out and fall overboard. #2 is because the law states that for this preserver to be considered acceptable to law enforcement, it MUST be worn while on the boat! No excuses, I HAVE to wear it to stay legal and avoid a fine, because sometimes we all get lazy and prevaricate on things!

Number one I’m one of the family members I was very close to one of the guys one of them was on the boat and the other fell off and went in the water the guy that was the best person I have ever met he went after the guy trying to save him because the other guy now’s how to swim but the guy that did not did not know how to swim so he pulled him down number one those where brothers and husbands and sons don’t disrespect them because he lost his life trying to save someone y’all don’t the whole story or the news so I need y’all to be respectful and shut up and stop making fun of people because you do not know the whole story because y’all would probably stayed at that boat scared to lose y’all life but he was not scared he was trying to save a life but that the person he was thanks just imagine if your brother or father and get the call They have died or gone it not a call you want to hear be respectful thanks
Even if you know how to swim there’s a lot of debris and trees you can get caught on to by surprise while under water that can get stuck to you or to your clothes. People just have to be careful while swimming/diving around these areas. It varies on location of course. It may have been this situation or not.
Our condolences to the family’s and loved ones of the deceased. Different stories going around. One says that multiple ppl (4-5) fell off the boat, as the driver gunned the engine of the boat. A woman was rescued by another boat. Don’t know if this is the same incident.
I wonder if this lake is like the one that the girl from the show Glee drowned in? Some of these bodies of water were dry at some point and trees and brush grew in the lake beds. Then they filled with water and just under the surface is a literal underwater forest. People bump their heads or get trapped inside of all the random branches and stuff floating. That's what happened to Naya Rivera. Her body was held down until the gases allowed it to break free from under the surface.
