It didn't rain at all today, and literally 3 minutes after I leave, there it was out of nowhere, like it was waiting for me. This time I hid under a building. Nope, not this time, rain!
OK, I was saddened when you sold your motorcycle. But I am enjoying your cycle vlogging just as much. "The rain got me in my eyes" = you doesn't wear glasses!
I would go to Harbor Freight and get the cool stylish safety glasses (I think they're on sale now)... They are good in the rain. They have tinted ones too. I always wear those kinds of glasses in the rain because I can handle water anywhere else, but not in the eyes because it distracts you from what you are trying to watch out for. So they really could be considered safety glasses in this case..
The $0.99 ones? I think those are the same kind as what I use - not sure, they're riding glasses someone gave me, but they're curved just like it. I was surprised the rain was still getting in my eyes. Either way aiming my helmet down so the peak was closer to my eyes helped tons.
There's one brand I got when I got my laser eye surgery 2 months ago where they have a tighter lip along the top edge (resting tight against your forehead) so they actually seal the light so it can't come in. The eye doc just wants to make sure to keep all UV out for the first while after eye treatment. I imagine that style would keep water out too... One a side note, I also like to wear yellow colored glasses in the rain because they trick you into thinking it's a bright day and makes your mood better on a dark grey day hehe.
That place is kind of neat, I’ve seen it raining on one side of road and totally be dry and sunny on the other. I don’t see how they can ever give weather reports down there.
Your bent handle bars, missing grips and your off-set handle bar stem is messing with my OCD. I may have to stop watching you for a while! ;-) P.S. I'd use those lights ALL the time. That's why our motorcycles and modern autos have them on full time right? Just a thought.
Well then lucky for you I just put bars on that aren't bent, which also means straight stem. But you'd still have to deal with my missing grips! Just think of it as my gloves are my grips. Though, whether I stay with these unbent bars could be another story...
Oh I already know about the rain here. It got me good yesterday on my scooter.
Everything will be nice and sunny, then suddenly it gets really cold then WHOOSH all in 2 minutes!
Been raining here last 2 days. Rain sucks! hahahaha! Thats a cool tail light.
