I just got a Swagtron Kick Scooter and this is my first scooter. I am 53 and I ride a bike. I applaud you. This is my reality check. Thank you for this video
Your same as me with fitness level and needs work. The more expensive scooters: mine is $50, have same issues and strengths. Thankyou for your I put on what makes the body sore with a ride as I am nearly 50. Keep scootering.
Great Video ! please keep experimenting, It holds my interest and motivates me to try new things. You may not have noticed, but you seem to be doing better on the scooter.
If the wheel freed up by rotating the bolt it have a slight bend in it which causes binding. Replacing should prevent it from happening again. We find the same issue with wheelchair casters at my shop. Great video!
You live! :) I hadn’t seen that you posted a video before this a few days ago, but still! I had been wondering where you had gone. I’m glad to see that you’re doing well. :) And I see you got a kick scooter! :) Oh yeah. I probably should have said this a few days ago, but welcome back! ^u^
Beat me to it. They are quicker and easier if you can find one. I've seen them on internet sites, but I don't know about buying stuff like that without being able to check it out.
Haha this is funny to see because I was just watching videos on roller skating commuting and I'm super excited! I didn't know it could be done. I loved roller skating when I was little, and I'm looking into it now as another possibility to get around. I used to go for hours in the skating rink non stop. I assumed it couldn't be done on streets and sidewalks but I just saw people doing it all, dirt, grass, and everything. Not sure how stores would react to me going in with skates on... so far with the scooter no bad reactions rolling it beside me. Could always bring a pair of shoes in case they freak out about it.
Hi Rosie, If you ever think about doing a Gas Motorized bike.. check out Alex and his Motored Life TH-cams. He builds a lot of them and has a lot of how to videos on building them ... take care.
Sounds like your bonking. Just drink or eat some high calorie junk food. Its like a miracle recovering. I am buying the same scooter you have, I need the cardio work to improve my tennis game. And the compactness of a scooter is really cool. If I like it I will upgrade to a Xootr MG type.
@@remkohorn4986 I did buy for 35 bucks the same kick scooter she bought and found it was a complete piece of junk, its only maybe useful as a kids scooter to roll up and down the driveway. I bought a Razor A5 Lux and love it, it is so much better and well made. I can go 5 to 6 miles at a time, averaging a mile every 10 minutes, no problem, but I also ride a bike for 20 to 25 miles usually. I keep it in my car because its so portable like she said. Forget the cheap kick scooter, get a Razor, at least for something that is useable.
It's hard to know our limits when trying something that's fun, but physically taxing. I have a feeling you're going to do a hover-board video next, or hardcore jogging.
Hey Rosie girl If your having health issues give accupunture a try for a few visits i was a non believer until it helped me i had many issues with my health , Dr sent me there and now im feeling better than i have in many years . I worked for me may help you also talk with your DR see what he says cheers Rosie take care .
My wheels roll for a long time though so I assumed that meant the bearings were fine... I don't know anything about bearings though. What am I not knowing here...
RosieMoto yes, they would seem to roll and glide fine right now but if you want it to become faster and waaaaaaaay looonger glides I really suggest that you should buy somes Bones Swiss or Bones Red ball bearings. These are precision skate bearings but fits and works perfectly for scoots too! Your local skate shops have these. Go and check em out. Hehe. 😊😊😊 P.S. there are lots of videos here on youtube if you wanna see reviews, unboxings, spin test of the said bearings. Good luck and safe scooting
Thanks, so you've got me thinking about the Bones Red...they seem good. It's definitely worth a try. Swiss would cost more than the whole scooter haha. I'm still in the experimenting phase of scootering, so I don't wanna go too crazy. After seeing some videos it looks really simple to change!
Very Informative. Enjoyed your video! I am 75 and just got a Razor
A5 lux. Love it so far!

Hello rosie , nice video cheap scooters review,, 🙄 am trying Gear madd kruzer brand....in the cheap line also but i think that line going better
You should try keeping your standing leg straight when you push. The pendulum technique is much more efficient, contrary to what they say.
or a moped. Bicycle with 2 stroke motor. I think u can pedal it if the engine dies.
Hey Rosie! I'm a bit new, and I'm sorry if you've gotten this question a lot, but do you still have your scooter?
Do they still make the scooter with a kick peddle on back wheel with chain ? You push down and away you go !
I have no idea, but that sounds interesting! There's also the 3 wheel'd ones where you lean side to side to go, but it's just not portable enough

Have you tried rollerblades or skates? In my opinion, once you get used to it it's on par with walking.

The calf cramps have to be terrible
Pretty sure why you were sore in those areas is because the deck is too high...
Rosie, its too damn hot outside for this shit.
