    Greg this is another great video, you seem like a really nice dad and your product is smart. I'm glad I bought it and can't wait to use it more on the road. Good luck,

    Amazing!!!
    I came across your video and about 2yrs ago, an accident where it took 3-4 days to locate the baby and the rest of the family, due to no safety devices!!!
    Thanks for sharing and this is a MUST!!!

    Thanks for the quick trick. Been using this on all of my kids since 1988 and have always wished there was a quicker way to put it on. Thanks

    How does the dual latch work for children over 60lbs and lap belt only?

    • @Saferide4kids
      @Saferide4kids  ปีที่แล้ว

      The dual tether attaches to both shoulders on the vest and two tether anchor points in the vehicle (the one for the seating position the child is in and one for the seating position next to the child).

    The shoulder part , do you have some with something other than velcro

    • @Saferide4kids
      @Saferide4kids  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a metal guide inside the shoulder pad with the Velcro closure. No, there is not an option to close the shoulder pad with something other than the Velcro the manufacturer designed it with.

    Are you able to put a backless booster under the child and use this? I want to get one for my 3yo niece because I cannot fit a highback with harness in my small SUV with my 2 kids and she's too young and won't sit still in just a backless booster

      Using a booster with the RideSafer can offer some comfort and the ability to see out the window for a smaller child. For this the manufacturer offers the Delighter Booster (shop.saferide4kids.com/products/delighter-booster-seat) which is the only booster that has been crash tested with RideSafer vests.

    That thing looks like a death trap for younger kids. I'd rather lug around a booster seat

      Beckah, I (Greg) find your comment interesting. Under what conditions do
      you feel it would be more unsafe than a booster? I just want to
      understand your thinking so I can provide the right feedback. Thank you.

      The position of the shoulder strap looks to be too close to the younger child's neck, rather than across the center of his shoulder. Maybe if the belt positioner was a little lower on the vest it would be easier to get a good fit for smaller kids

      Thanks for replying! There are couple things to discuss on this topic. The new RideSafer Delight (Oct 2016) has more adjustability in the shoulder clip in an attempt to get a better fit on more kid/seatbelt combinations. The other, and potentially more important issue, is a common misconception about the risks of having a seat belt near the neck. The misconception is that the having the shoulder belt near the neck is inherently dangerous. It is not. There are no documented cases of a child being seriously injured in the neck by the seat belt BUT there are MANY cases of a child being annoyed by the seat belt and putting it under their arm or behind their back and that is a potentially deadly combination. On the RideSafer, with the clip holding the seatbelt off the neck and on the shoulder we avoid this whole issue. Thanks again!

      Was thinking same. Where is the booster seat, something doesn’t seems right.
