A very clean plane, with pleasant decor. It's always tricky to have to travel with another company, especially if you have paid for a service other than economy. But for now, on this Air Baltic, it was very good.
Nice trip report.. however wasn’t the “operated by Air Baltic” clearly stated at the time of you booking the flight? Just a bit surprised that you were surprised 😂😂

The A340 flight was simply amazing =) it was a night flight and beside of a nice meal service, i had plenty of time to sleep. By the way, this will be the next trip report, which i will upload in a few weeks.
AirBaltic is one of the top hybrid airlines in Europe. Their service level is good, planes are in average about 4 years old, and fleet consists from A220-300 pnly.
Bigger surprise is when you buy tickets to Air Baltic flight , but on gate you recive a surprise - old planes Carpatian Air or Cyprus Air because new and comfortable Airbaltic planes ir rented for swis air or lufthansa

Thank you =) No, as we booked the flight 11 month in advance, there was no indication that airBaltic would operate it.

That´s true. This happens also often when you book Eurowings.
