Swat is a valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan, located near the Afghan-Pakistan border.

Are there venomous snakes in Swat or any other kind of dangerous wildlife? btw Swat seems heavenly. reminds me of switzerland in so many ways, while also bieng different than the swiss alps in so many ways....hevenly place to be.
+mike hauss There aren't many if you have somewhere like Australia in mind :P But offcourse every wild place has a bit of risk to it as far as wild life is concerned. But all in all it is pretty safe place. Snow Leopards live in Himaliyan region of Pakistan and don't really come down. But there have been sightings of other leopards once in a blue moon.

No they dont, swat belongs to the Afghans, infact,the people of Swat are (Ethnic) Afghans! a Pakistani would be an outsider here since they dont know the local language (Pashto) but an Afghan would blend in with his local Afghans (aka Pashrtun/Pathan)
