Not in his prime: more like in his prime of arrogance.
Rick was a spectacular fighter in all respects, but because he never adopted the changes made to kickboxing - it prevented him from truly reaching his potential, unlike Ernesto Hoost, for example - who evolved
quite significantly with every fight. But, be as it may - i'll still favor the oldschool american kickboxing (or savate), any day of the week.

Is this the same Rob Kaman? In the previous fight (which he won by KO), you see superb footwork and movement, brilliant counter-attacks and some good K-1 style kickboxing.
And here - all of the sudden it's all gone out the window. Why would he do that...? Changing the game plan to hand advantages over to the opponent...I guess we'll never really know. Then again, in their fourth fight - it appears that the age gap took its toll.

Kitsongrit definitely had to change his game plan from their last fight, although his more aggressive kicking was stifled. Over 60% of his kicks were checked by Kaman, hence why Kitsongrit resorted to very sloppy hanging on neck clinch knees to balls. Tell tale signs of a frustrated fighter.

@@hahahahah8396 That mentality is still present.
It's a way of coping to the one sided defeats that they suffered against undersized Thai fighters.
If you can't beat them then you must damage their reputation.
Nothing has changed, same tactics as in the old days.
Western fighters get destroyed against Thai fighters so the coping mechanism is to say that Thai women cheers for the Westerners rather than the Thai fighters.
Kaman was 10+ KG bigger than almost all his Thai opponents and yet Kaman record against Thai fighters is 8 wins and 7 losses.
That's a pretty terrible record if you take into account that Kaman was 10+ KG bigger than nearly all of them.
It's like if 147 lbs Spence go up 21 lbs and beat Canelo who is 168 lbs.
Canelo would be seen as a joke.
Well Kaman lost to 22 lbs smaller Thai fighters and the only way of coping for westerners is to say that Thai women cheers for Kaman and not for Changpuek.
