They're both experienced performer/improvisers leaning into the first two tenets of improvisation: I. whenever your scene partner makes an offer accept it. Then expand on what you were offerred. This rule is called "Yes. And!!" II. Never block an offer. That was the entire interview and it could have gone on for hours. Drama and improv classes will study this. Brilliant.

Craig sits back in his chair as if his show is laid back and care free but in this instance it comes across as lazy. Luckily the snake mug was there to start the conversation because I don't think Craig did very well as a host. Simon looked genuinely confused by the lack of energy from Craig.
Like 50% of all Craig's interviews with British people are just the two of them talking about how easy it is for Brits to get laughs in America. Towards the end they were just competing to see who could make the most banal and obvious comment and still get the audience to laugh. And the audience are completely oblivious to the fact that the real punchline of the 'jokes' is themselves.
Pretentious and inaccurate. Are you sure you don't want to rewrite that comment to go for a triple-whammy and talk about how much better other countries are than America or would you like to settle with that useless drivel you call an "opinion"?
I agree. The comment above is an inaccurate response to the interview. The most uncomfortable person in that room was Simon! Making a commentary on the banality of American audiences was the last thing on his mind!
