Conquering Malaysia's Wild Nature in Cameron Highlands 🇲🇾

- Cameron Highlands is especially known for its beatiful nature and hiking trails so on my first day I decided to go for a nice hike into the jungle.
On Wikiloc I found a nice hike that combined Trail 6, 7 and 4 around Tanah Rata. If you want to follo this route as well, here's the link: www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails...
At the beginning of the trek I met a few people, then hiked alone for several hours and then at the peak of Gunung Berembun (2077m) I met a group of German friends. Overal it was a tough hike but it felt good to be out in nature for a day!

I've heard that abandoned strawberry farm is full of heavy metals, so yeah that's why.. You should go to Fraser Hill. Much better than Cameron Highlands. The view and the environment is spectacular.. There is trail for hiking too called Pine Tree Trail and Jeriau waterfall. Go there Tim, you gonna love it!
Hi Tim, you should hike to mossy forest too. Drop at tea plantation, night market at Brinchang and try Cameron corn. Enjoy the scenic view Tim💪💪💪

Just be careful when hiking in Cameron.. let the hotel know where you are going. Also be careful when riding back to Ipoh.. a lot of dangerous bends.
Go to mossy forest and Boh Plantation... a beautiful place to visit. You need a 4WD.
Most Malaysians have hiked at least once in their lives. Cause we live around the oldest rainforests in the world. So hiking is a norm.
Try Mossy forest or also known as Gunung Irau. But it is quite intense hike and u need to wear jacket as it is quite chilling hike.. my team went up there to install the aluminium ladder..the scenery is out of from lord of the ring..
I was in Cameron Highlands since Friday morning and today came down back to KL. There was a lot of traffic jam in Brinchang.

tim you should hiking at mount tahan, it's the tallest mountain in peninsular malaysia, the view at the top is amazing, you can actually view the trail in street view in google map, you can ride an ets train to gemas then switch to dmu train to merapoh, right at the trail entrance
9:25 those bottles probably from vegetable farms on the hillsides around Cameron Highlands. Most of them runs their farms illegally. Since a decade ago, waterfalls and rivers are contaminated with fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. The worst case of pollution was in 2015. Nowadays, nature is healing slowly but still I won't take the risk to dip in those brownish water. The nearest waterfall around the area is Robinson Falls and if you decending from Ringlet to Tapah, there is a waterfall (Lata Iskandar) on the roadside

for a very beautiful view, you should go to the mossy forest... and before that you can stop to drink tea at boh tea plantation in sungei palas, cameron highlands
Hi Tim,please do not venture into the jungles alone .remember the 'lost Panama girls, yes, them 2 never made it out alive .once you lost your way ,the phenomena of confusion sets in ,you're lost then ,for good.

Last month have one hikers from India lost in the jungle when he hiking Jasar mountain.. after 7 days, rescue team found dead body near the river.. RIP for him.. be careful when you hiking next time.. let's your family, friends or hotel staff know you go to hiking..
Your name Tense says it all. You seem to be tensed in Cameron Highlands 😂 Relax, take it easy. Millions of tourists and locals have gone thru these routes. You just need to take it easy and follow MapsME. There are about 10 or so hiking routes here.

Disheartening to witness pollution tarnishing the beauty of this waterfall. Some individuals have yet to grasp the importance of safeguarding our precious natural environments.
Sepatutnya dah boleh buat undang-undang yang ketat bab pembuangan sampah ini. Makin menjadi-jadi tak ada pihak yang betul-betul nak perjuangkan isu ini

Normal to see that. The forestry dept is so lazy. I made a complaint twice to jabatan hutan linking vlog by tourists on both Robinson and parit falls. Looks like nothing was done.
Those bottles came from Sg. Pauh camping site and taman sedia which always full of stupid local tourist every weekend. They came just to litter and leave .
Some of this local just wanting to smear the beauty of Cameron Highland forest with rubbish and plastic bottle.

Yes, you are right, if you wanna take a mysterious and creepy pic at mosses jungle, you need to reach there around 7 - 8 am.

Right. You might pick up leeches along the way too, without ever realising it until you're literally about to faint. Some plants have leaves that are sharp, too. Mere grazes can cut into the skin.
