Your taste in asmr is very similar to mine I agree with your points about mouth sounds and fast tapping I think that’s why I love you videos because you hit all they points. Also, I’m not sure if asmr role play is your thing but there is a girl who makes literal movies Atmosphere is her channel name and another girl who I love which I think you may like her name is moonlight cottage ASMR. And ALB in whisperland is amazing too she always has great taps and crinkly sounds. Can’t wait to hear about your travels when you return.
I 100% agree with your taste in ASMR. I love to watch the cinematic ASMR but do so more for relaxation and entertainment than to actually become sleepy or drowsy. I get too interested in what's happening!! heheee

Oh I feel you so much about the fast tapping! I love tapping but that aggressiveness just takes me out of it, and it's so hard to find someone who does it right 😩
Same goes for crinkly sounds!

I’ve never been able to put a finger on why I dislike mouth sounds so much but you hit the nail on the head! It feels so rude for some reason, and it makes me angry as well! My favorite, on the other hand, is light tapping like you discussed. I would love a soft spoken/whispered video with a focus on tapping from you☺️ Another relaxing video as always. I never leave comments, but your channel has helped me a lot in the recent months

I remember in elementary school when it was library time our library teacher was always soft speaking and had soo much natural mouth sounds I’d fall asleep, I’d even have my best friend tickle my arm when she asks why I’d fall asleep I tell her all the time I enjoyed it🥰

I agree with you on the mouth noises and loud tapping...sounds in ASMR are supposed to be soothing and maybe sometimes nostalgic not loud and annoying.....I do the same with the earbud listening in bed😂

My personal pet peeves in ASMR are loud beeps and loud typing. I love check up roleplays that are softer and feel like it's just me and the doctor but the loud thermometer beeping wakes me up every time, I enjoy keyboard noises but when they're so loud and clacky it wakes me up

I don’t have anything groundbreaking to say but I just want to support you with a comment. I love your videos because there are so many roleplays out there that feel so strange and forced to watch for me. I love learning a little bit about a subject or even you! My son loved to listen to people reading children’s books and I think you’d be wonderful at that! The Velveteen Rabbit or Narnia would be just amazing in your voice!

Have you heard of the term HSP? Highly sensitive person. It’s possible you may be one (just from some of the things you’ve talked about. )I am and I’ve watched and read a lot of info about it.
I think one of the things I’ve picked up on (and a reason your viewers are drawn to your content) is that you don’t NEED to have a channel. You don’t need the popularity or “fame.” You are compelled to make videos not to gain something, but because you want to give something. You want to encourage, lift up, refresh and help us. It’s very grounding to “spend time” with you. You give the sense that all will be well. ❤️

Mama J, we have the same taste in asmr videos. I looove soft spoken plus soft crinkles and slow tapping. I’m not fond of weird sounds like clicking their tongue, excessive mouth sounds so intentional I would skip the video. I also haaaate fast and hard tapping. Such a pet peeve. 😢
I think you’ve said that you keep a keto diet like I do! What kind of protein drinks do you drink? I could use a rec!

I adore the same sounds, and hate mouth sounds too!!! I love Maria, and I just recently discovered Kirsten and Jorg based on travel. They are the sweetest and I have learned so much about the English countryside, a place I intend to visit. They are definitely unintentional ASMR, Kirstens voice is so relaxing. Omg you saying that your husband was gone a lot and you couldn’t watch the scary stuff…I am the same way, and in one of the pilot wives groups on Facebook, someone was talking about how she was so scared to be home alone she was sleeping on the couch every night and she wanted tips for how to be brave, and all of us were like “Don’t watch scary stuff! No ID Discovery! No haunted stuff!” I told her I turn on upbeat shows and my TV is on all the time as company. It makes me feel so much better when people admit to letting their imagination get the best of them. I’m in good company. 😂💗
