For those that struggle with special moves during combos, I have a helpful tip for you.
Go to your controls config, or go to wireless controller preset by pressing the pause button during a match, and go to RELEASE CHECK. Turn it OFF, it will make pulling off combos a lot easier

I was disappointed. I thought Hellboy would have had more flashy combos. All of them are pretty much the same and there's no variation at all. And they're not even satisfying to pull off. He looks really cool that's about it.

I have such trouble executing any of the DBF3 moves with Hellboy or any character.

Yo SuperMann104, these moves are called Command Grabs, they are extremely valuable as they are like normal grabs (LB/L2) but they can't be teched (cancelled) by the opponent. So they're like free grabs! Basically what I do that helps me is I think at the DOWN BACK portions of the input as one entity and the FORWARD 3 as another entity. So think of it not as DBF3 but DB, F+3, if focus on inputting the DB in quick sucession then immediately hold F+3(together) you will surely get it consistently in due time. This is what I think about and it seems to work, I hope this helped!
