I have a strategy: i'll buy the Marvel Unlimited subscription and read all i wanna read and after that i'm gonna collect epic collections (even tho they're expensive), some modern trades and some facsimile edition issues. I am an old grumpy fan who actually quit reading FF at 236, the 20th anniversary ish. I just couldn't buy into Byrne's run and his upending the 20-year history (e.g., introducing Aunt Petunia). I do enjoy learning about what later creators did and did not know 1970's Avengers icon Englehart had a lengthy run. Thank you and press on!
You know what, I read the video title "The Dream is Dead" as Kurtis' opinion and thought something was very wrong with Vol. 19 haha. That quickly changed once I realised Vol.19 is called "The Dream is Dead".
One small doubt I also have is if the recent reprint of Volume 4 also uses the same remastered artwork from the Omnibus or if it’s just this volume of The Coming of Galactus that uses it

Do you mean where the writer and the artist are the same person? I think there is only Byrne and Simonson that fall into that category (and Simonson only drew half of it). Simonson might come first. That one has fewer volumes to go.
Great video Curtis.Always how much better the 'Masterworks scans were compared to others. Just my opinion but I think the big gaps we are waiting for in FF,Avengers,Hulk and ASM from the 70,s and 80,s are the best stories in all the runs.
Although I know those Lee and Kirby stories are classics, some of them are really hard to read as they're so verbose. I grew up with the Buscema issues so I've been collecting those Epics but I debate on whether to get those Lee/Kirby epics. Always nice to see the recap of all the Epics so far so I can decide which ones I want to add my collection. Keep up the good work.Kurtis.

This depends on what era you enjoy reading. It you like the wary Silver Age, then start right at the very beginning! If not, then maybe Simonson’s Into the Timestream would be a good place for you to jump in.
I am looking for a way to collect the Triumph and Torment graphic novel. What Epic is better overall: the Famtastic Four epic volume or the Doctor Strange epic?

I know vol. 4 has the new remaster scans as well. It was confirmed by the editor on a message board.

It's true. Reading the Lee issues as well as early Thomas issues can take a bit of work, especially if you are not used to early Silver Age comics!

I would say the Doctor Strange volume. Plus, that GN fits better in that volume as Strange is the feature character.
