Very helpful thank you, I popped the flap and knew it was going to be a remove the whole lamp so decided not to do it in Aldi's carpark, glad I didn't as I don't have any tools with me.

one of my reverse light bulbs has gone so got as far as unscrewing the black plugs then didn't want to risk damaging the wires but now its a easy job thanks to watching your vid.

Glad it helped you. I had the same problem when my 1st bulb failed. Took me ages to work out how to change it safely. The owners handbook is not very useful for this. That is why I created the video to help others.

@@eltoro1913 can you remove the middle plastic housing?

    • @eltoro1913

@@minhajuddin6607 if you mean to take it apart to be able to clean the lens and inner reflectors, unfortunately no. The outer lens is (heat?) fused to the back frame.

I like how Vauxhalls use thumb screws to hold in the cluster a lot of calls mainly French ones like citrons and Renaults. You have to tear apart the back of the car to get to it.

Getting a lot of water coming into my boot, do you think it is possible its coming through the rubber that sits on the body of the light lens ? I mean a lot of water ..i dont know how else it is coming in.Help please? :)

I am not sure, but looking at the shape of the bodywork on that part of the Insignia, I don't think that would be the source of the leak.
Funnily enough, I had a similar problem with an old Mercedes B200 that had a sunroof. It used to take in buckets of water in the spare tire well in the boot and in the cabin foot wells. Two different garages took money off me but never fixed the problem.
I eventually found online that the cause could be clogged narrow drain pipes that run from the edge of the sunroof frame down the side of the windscreen posts and draining out at the bottom of the car. After I unclogged the pipes the leak stopped in the cabin, but I never did manage to fix the leak letting water into the boot.
Hope the above helps .. do let us know how you get along.
