Minus the unsubtle on the nose commentary it was a very impressive visual display. I have my doubts that the BBC Live Events team actually presented an entirely live event but I can forgive them their trickery.
@@Millhouse235 An awful lot of money is spent on the London show and it's rehearsed a couple of times before the main event in the early hours of the morning. I'm pretty sure the live vision mixers hover over the button should anything not be going to plan and insert a second or two from rehearsal when needed. Then again, the BBC is very good at massive live events like the Queen's funeral which involved hundreds of camera setups seamlessly. The soundtrack is certainly not presented live for the TV broadcast because that would be impossible which is why it isn't included in news agency coverage from the likes of AP and AFP. The BBC has global clearance rights coverage for most music outside of Michael Jackson and the Beetles.
