I love the twist of sweet and savory, just how I like to bake my cakes.
Have tried this twice now and loved both times! Used Red miso paste as thats what i had in the fridge, and the second cheesecake I used gingernut biscuits for the base which went very well! My oven may be a bit less hot so tend to need longer. Recommend!

Made this at the weekend. Cheesecake was a success and absolutely delicious but my first batch of caramel was a disaster! Second batch was a bit better 👌🏻

I love your channel I'm so glad you started making more desserts. I have this cookie I love and would be ecstatic if you could recreate it so my daughter and I can make it at home. They are ginger biscuit cookies, they are rolled and have a royal icing or hard powdered sugar glaze on them. The ones I get are by Wang so you have an idea of what they are. They are hard to find for me and aren't the cheapest cookie for my budget. They are so addictive can you please help me, they have such a lovely Ginger flavor and such a crunch. We have several of your recipes that are in permanent rotation

As an American, the kind of biscuits (what we'd call cookies) you use, I probably couldn't find here without ordering it online. Would graham crackers or shortbread cookies be a good substitute? I don't think they have flavors that would compete with the filling.
I think graham crackers would be the best substitute!
They have them in our area, I find them in the international section, or if you have a World Market

I think I over-aerated my mixture. Mine looked like that Japanese jiggly cheesecake. It’s ginormous!
